It felt like homely luxury! The layout worked really well in terms of the number of bathrooms etc. It was the perfect place to get family and bridesmaids together before the wedding and such a beautiful place to get ready on the wedding morning itself. “An internationally accessible haven of tranquility providing escape from the city. Dunham Massey is a brilliant green area south of Manchester, well conectes to Manchester airport. A range of flora and fauna make for a wonderful nature trail and forage, or a humble walk passively absorbing the natural landscape including forested areas and open pastures featuring abundant wildlife. On our visit most of the amenities were closed due to a met office weather warning, but this didn’t stop us exploring the vast grounds in peace. They often talk about calm before the storm, but rarely the calm during the storm- which is what we experienced due to the lack of fair weather crowds. I can imagine on more typical days tje cafes and visitors centre complete this experience with a warm drink or a hot soup after a brisk autumn stroll. I look forward to experiencing these on a future visit.”

“What an amazing B&B. Sharon and Dave were simply wonderful hosts, with my family descending on them for the weekend for a nearby wedding. The beautiful flowers on the door were a good omen that we were in safe hands. The decor in the cottage was lovely and the whole place was well maintained. Sharon did a great job providing breakfast for all of us and they made us feel very welcome. It was a lovely break from urban life, would definitely recommend to others and I'd happily stay there again!”

“It's a fantastic park with something for everyone! The area is huge and well-maintained. There's a lovely playground for children, picnic areas with barbecue facilities for families, and clean toilets that are free to use. Parking is reasonably priced—£1.50 for 2 hours and £2.50 for a longer stay. One of the highlights is the large lake with beautiful views, perfect for a relaxing walk or just enjoying nature. Highly recommended for a day out with family or friends”

“I visited Sharon at Cheadle Holistic Therapies after experiencing soreness in my lower back during a short visit to Manchester from London. I haven't felt so relaxed since before I was born! Sharon provides a very tranquil environment where you can truly unwind which, for someone like me born with a spring for a backbone, isn't easy! The back, neck and shoulder massage was perfectly tailored to my needs after an initial consultation. Sharon also welcomes feedback during the therapy session to optimise attention in the areas most affected. This really made it effective and the calming music only added to the sense of escapism. It was only towards the end of the visit that I realised that the sound of birdsong did not resonate from the soothing music but from the gardens outside. A truly superior surround sound experience! I have experienced many massage therapies over the years but I can confidentially recommend a visit here if you want to leave feeling entirely rejuvenated and experience what I feel was the most effective treatment I've enjoyed in memory.
