“Childhood walking area, nice field at the start where dogs can run around. Small stream that dogs can get a drink or play in. You can walk further into the wooded area and up to a disused rail line and reservoir, leading further onto the moors. Dogs and people are able to get down to the water.”

“A lovely traditional park with lots to see and do. The park has good play areas for the little ones which includes a water fountain play area in the summer months. A lovely coffee shop in the centre of the park with an ice cream van present near the play areas for most of the warmer months. There are also bowling greens, a duck pond and aviary with various types of birds to look at. Worth a visit if you're in the area and an excellent way to kill a few hours for free.”

“Charlotte looked after our two rabbits whilst we were away over Christmas and New Year. She was amazing with them both, and kept us updated with pictures and info each day. She saw to them twice a day, kept their areas tidy and cared for them like they were her own. She even went shopping to get extra veggies for them when needed. Would definitely use Charlotte again when we are away, and would recommend her to anyone!”

“Lovely walk, choice of routes with miles wide paths an option on muddier days, or over dirt tracks when weather better. Beautiful views, not ever too busy like dovestones can be. Lack of bins is my only issue, so occasionally see dog poo bags hanging on bushes, which is a shame.”
