“This pub is not part of your normally brewery chain. It's back to the old days were a couple run the bar with their lovely team. The pub is clean and warm and appears to have been recently modernised. It has a homely feel, friendly atmosphere, reasonable priced drinks and a wide variety of gins and tonics which we enjoyed trying.”

“Great pub. We visited on Friday. It was Friendly! Clean. Lovely local barmaid. She even rang the last orders bell for me :) We went next door for fish and chips and got to eat in inside too.”

“What absolutely brilliant service from Annie at the Trafford Centre Branch. I don’t live near a Lakeland so it was just easier to call and speak to someone about my hesitation on buying a high price item and enquiring what kind of guarantees Lakeland provide. Annie reassured me and explained everything so well and answered all of my questions; I had way too many. The customer service I received was exceptional, Lakeland have found themselves a great employee here. No doubt if I ever go in store there one day, I’ll know who to speak to. Thank you for all your help today !!!!”

“Found off of the main road where the turning for tescos is. It has its own parking. Medium sized store with plenty of stock. Chilled and freezer section. Managers specials section was empty, so I'm guessing he's either on holiday or they've all sold out !! Currently alot of Christmas stuff. Till service was fast and efficient with 3 people serving. I cannot fault this store.”

“Ok, can we start by saying it is the best chicken tacos in the city if not in the UK. True corn tortillas, coriander, lime and all the good stuff. The food was great all throughout, we took tacos, totopos, pardon peppers and quesadillas. The Paloma Anderson cocktail was lovely and refreshing. To top it all we had to order a second dose of the tacos. Love the atmosphere, selection of beers and the service. How come we haven't been here before? Ohhh and it is not only dog friendly, Hertzel got treats before the humans. ❤️❤️❤️”

“Lovely Inn for a drink, if you're passing, why not pop in for a drink. When you're not driving, of course. Although you can have a soft drink or a Shandy if you so desire. Lovely friendly atmosphere & staff are lovely too.”

“Cheap but high quality. We visited second time to try their surf and turf, and the fried chicken. The fried chicken was surprisingly tender, together with garlic sauce, it was amazing. Finally, I can have corns with proper corn flavor in UK instead of bbq sauce. Highly recommend the rib corn there.”

“We are Americans visiting Manchester for the holidays. The Didsbury Pub was recommended to us for dinner. We had dinner at The Didsbury Pub on Christmas Eve, and it was fantastic! Steven, our server, looked after us; he did a fantastic job. The Didsbury Pub had a Festive Menu on Christmas Eve and our compliments to the Chef. The food was delicious. The hand carved roast turkey with Yorkshire pudding was awesome. So was the Marmalade Glazed Ham Hock. And the desserts. The apple & blackberry crumble was scrumptious; as was the melting chocolate fondant. The pub is beautiful. The atmosphere was great. One of the best dining experiences in all our travels. Thank you to Steven, the Chef, and all the great people at The Didsbury Pub. I highly recommend everyone visiting Manchester to stop in and enjoy The Didsbury Pub.”

“Very good pub owned by Manchester Metropolitan University and run by the student union. The pub is a tap for the Bollington Brewery and had five cask beers - and 1 cider - on handpump when I visited. Lots of outdoor seating most of it covered.”
