“Another terrific trip to Gladstone. It was my wife’s birthday and she had specifically requested a family meal to enjoy the epic Sunday Roasts on offer here. Hannah was attentive throughout our visit and gave excellent service. The food was amazing with great portions and excellent quality overall. The Sticky Toffee Pudding sadly defeated me.. We look forward to another trip in the future.”

“If you're thinking about getting new furniture I would definitely check out this place first. Very reasonable prices that always reflect the condition of the furniture- of which the condition is usually great. There's also a delivery service which is immensely helpful. I'm not sure if there's a charge for it although I would imagine it's nominal. The cafe upstairs is lovely too. Very reasonably priced and a great selection of drinks and food. The choices range from snacks and cakes through to meals so there's something to satisfy whatever mood you're in. All raising money for such a great place in the hospice too.”

“Great pub. We visited on Friday. It was Friendly! Clean. Lovely local barmaid. She even rang the last orders bell for me :) We went next door for fish and chips and got to eat in inside too.”

“Love this place! I would normally pick up a sandwich or a jacket potato to take out. On the odd occasion I get to eat in, the atmosphere is just brilliant! An absolute gem of a place in Stalybridge, feels like the heart of the town with super friendly, caring staff and the best, affordable homely food. Please can I have your mashed potato recipe? X”
