“It was nice to see familiar faces after a year away. The food and service were excellent; the paneer cocktail was something I had never had before, the naans were incredibly fluffy, and the cobra was delicious. The total cost came to about £28 per person. I'm happy to confirm that Marple Spice remains fantastic. The staff was so kind and we will definitely be returning.”

“Tonight was our first ever vist to Purple Pakora Marple. I have to say the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, the food was excellent, infact I would say it is the best Biryani I have ever had, my husbands Rogan Josh was also very tasty. Definitely will be back.”

“Fantastic Bar with amazing people running it, and such a friendly crowd inside all round great atmosphere. Superb drink choice, with beers (north/ South my favourite) and cocktails a plenty (Gin Bramble my wifes favourite). They really go all out to look after you and your dogs too. “Went here for my sister’s 30th for Sunday lunch with my family. The food was incredible and the gravy was so shiny and delicious and there was loads of it! A true northern restaurant. My grandpa also has dementia and we requested that the food was served quickly. They were very accommodating. Can’t wait to come back and try the small plates.”

“First time here and certainly won’t be the last, minced chicken with lettuce wraps and salt & pepper prawn were the most savoury light delectable starters with duck, rice and the star of the show, steamed whole sea bass for main. My oh my best sea bass I have ever eaten, moist, fell off the bone, intensely savoury liquor, no extra thickeners. Just wow. And Sunny. Sunny sunny sunny. You were the highlight of the evening. “Excellent local café, great food and friendly staff. Mega breakfast is mega, Grilled chicken salad is very tasty, as too are the omelettes. My 10 year old son always has the burger and tells me it's awesome and loves the milkshakes. There is also a kids corner with colouring books and crayons.”
