“Went here for my sister’s 30th for Sunday lunch with my family. The food was incredible and the gravy was so shiny and delicious and there was loads of it! A true northern restaurant. “First time here and certainly won’t be the last, minced chicken with lettuce wraps and salt & pepper prawn were the most savoury light delectable starters with duck, rice and the star of the show, steamed whole sea bass for main. My oh my best sea bass I have ever eaten, moist, fell off the bone, intensely savoury liquor, no extra thickeners. Just wow. And Sunny. Sunny sunny sunny. You were the highlight of the evening. “It was nice to see familiar faces after a year away. The food and service were excellent; the paneer cocktail was something I had never had before, the naans were incredibly fluffy, and the cobra was delicious. The total cost came to about £28 per person. I'm happy to confirm that Marple Spice remains fantastic. The staff was so kind and we will definitely be returning.”
