“We arrived at Bean & Bun just as they were closing, but the staff were very welcoming and accommodating; we didn’t feel rushed. We had a nice meal that was made fresh, and to our tastes. Food and drinks were good value for money. The friendly staff made us feel relaxed and made our visit very enjoyable, thank you.”

“Been here twice and can't fault the place. The lunch special cheese and onion pie was really tasty. Also had a breakfast Omelette here and would recommend. The staff were friendly and the food prices reasonable. Place was clean and had a nice atmosphere. When ordering I was warned it might be a 20 minute wait however food arrived within 10 minutes. The food was hot, loved the homemade chips and fresh salad. They had a lovely children's corner with colouring books and ramped access at the front door. Only gave 4 stars for the food because they only use 2 eggs for the Omelette which compared to elsewhere is a little stingy. Will return again”

“We've been struggling for 18 months to find a decent place. We ordered the Hot & Spicy Pizza and it was delicious. Was nice and hot when delivered and the service was excellent. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.”

She was really struggling at first but James was so caring and helpful, really patient and attentive which helped not only my daughter but me as an anxious SEN parent! The food was incredible and nothing was too much trouble! I feel confident to take my daughter here for eating out now too which is not something we often do! “Absolutely stunning! The pepperoni pizza at Port Grand Pizza is next-level delicious. Crispy crust, gooey cheese, and the pepperoni is perfectly spicy with that satisfying crunch. “Amazing! Fresh, tasty, love that the sauce and salad is separate so food is really hot, salad crunchy, naan as it should be and not a soggy mess. Lots of meat which was all really well cooked. We ordered the apple pie, wish I had ordered 10........ordered from choices many times and had one not so brilliant meal so shopped around, mistake because nothing else has come close, hence we returned and so glad that we did. We also used our points tonight so the bill was really cheap, almost feel guilty using the points because the quality of the food was perfect. Delivered in really good time too, bonus, portion's are large so enough for lunch tomorrow too. That apple pie!”

“I had the most incredible dining experience at The Roaches Lock on Sunday! The food was absolutely delicious. The service was outstanding throughout the meal. The waitress kept checking in with us to see if we required more drinks or needed anything else. I can't wait to come back and try more items from their menu. “Very good burgers indeed. Just tried their "Any burger, chips and drink", lunch time offer, which is advertised in the front window for only £5.99. At that price, they are even beating Maccies for value. Really impressed with the Champions burger and the triple cheeseburger. The chips were hot and fresh, but were only good, not great. I would. If management read this review, may I suggest adding some red salt/paprika to the chips. Anyway, Champions is definitely worth a try. I will definitely be going back sometime soon.”

“One of the nicest Chinese around, the egg fried rice especially with little spring onion in it is the best I’ve ever tasted. The salt and pepper ribs are gorgeous, the curry is really distinctive too, it’s beautiful. How does this place not have more and better reviews, the quality of the Chinese food is so much better than anything around. Just such a shame you can’t have it delivered and it doesn’t open late.”
