“Had a weekend away in the Peak District and was visiting nearby towns. Came across this lovely little cafe in a small town not to far from where we were staying (Whaley bridge). We ordered the egg and avacado toast which was yummy!! The hot chocolate was really rich and just perfect. What attracted me to this cafe was the mostly vegetarian menu. The cafe was also a walking distance from Millennium walkway is another great place to visit!”

“Absolute gem of a place. Stumbled across it whilst looking for some chips for my son after visiting the nearby park. The place was really cosy and staff very friendly. I can't believe how cheap the prices are. Portion size was huge. Food was fresh, tasty and hot. Had a lovely fireplace and toys for children to play with. I ordered for takeout but you can dine in.”

“We’ve been here twice recently because it’s just so good! The first time I had the Turkish eggs with halloumi and sausage, then the second time I went for the chicken and pancakes, both were amazing. One visit was around 11am on a Saturday and there was about a 15-minute wait, but definitely worth it. The other time we went a bit later and got a table straight away. You can book ahead, but they also keep some tables for walk-ins. Staff are nice and friendly and really good to accommodate allergies too”

Everything is cooked to order, it's hot and fresh, and just a few steps better quality than almost everywhere else we have stopped for breakfast. “I have been visiting this Costa for at least 13 years maybe more. I have always enjoyed the quality of the coffee but a couple of weeks ago I was visiting Costa with my daughters and just as I had given my order I received some unexpected news via a phone call and i had to leave the store to continue the conversation. Whilst i did this my teen daughters stayed in the store where two members of staff kindly continued to serve them their drinks and get them seated. When I returned into Costa, the two members of staff could see i was overwhelmed and offered kindness and helped complete my order. Today I revisited the same Costa and was greeted by the same members of staff who remembered who I was and asked how things were and said they had been thinking of me. This absolutely blew me away, Costa management and head quarters should be so proud and honoured to have such kind and caring people working for their company, the names of these very special people are Nikki and Amy. Thank you to these ladies for showing such compassion, your moment of kindness and giving me your time has filled me with such positivity and strength. I had to write this review especially to say thank you. I would also like to mention Sophie who is an exceptional Barista and always makes me feel very welcome. I love this store. You have a great team, Thank you. X”

“Visited the coffee shop at lunch time today, lovely atmosphere about the place, it was busy, the staff were attentive and cheerful, our drinks were served lovely and hot, followed by our food which was lovely and fresh, accompanied by a healthy side salad.
