“Such a nice little pub to unwind, especially if you don’t want anything crazy for the night but just enjoying a drink with friends and have a great meal. Food is really nice and it came in fast. The staff is friendly and thoughtful. They have darts and table tennis so you can enjoy a game while at it too! Recommend.”

“Had a kids' meal, 4 oz burger and brownie with ice cream as desert, ABSOLUTELY LOVED BOTH. Size-wise was big enough even for me, so shared them with my boyfriend, who btw had fish and chips and was bananas about the sauce. Even mushy peas for the fish and chips had a nice twist to it. The meat on the burger tasted very nice, reminded of kebab, the ice cream in brownie was super tasty just on its own, and it all looked amazing. Totally worth it.”

“Diggle lock is a must visit in the Oldham/saddleworth area I’ve been lots of times it’s always great and the staff a super friendly. My favourite at the moment is the steak and eggs with halloumi on the side. The peach ice tea is a must try also!”

The food was incredible, I had the king prawns, tenderstem broccoli and spinach but would recommend all dishes. The drinks were delicious and the service was flawless. “Hidden in a side street is this excellent small family owned restaurant. Sebastian the Italian owner was extremely friendly and hospitable. The food was genuinely the best Italian we had had for a long time (in fact some members of our party even said it surpassed the food they had in Italy). The prices were fair and service was excellent. If you’re in the area it’s absolutely worth grabbing lunch or dinner here, we will definitely be returning when we’re next in Manchester.”

“Wow! We travelled from Shropshire to meet some friends before heading to the Co-Op for a concert, and we were absolutely blown away. We enjoyed the Fiorentina pizza, spaghetti carbonara, ragu, garlic bread, and fries. To drink, we had a Mimosa and a Daiquiri, followed by a limoncello gelato for dessert, every dish was insanely good! The food was beautifully presented, bursting with flavour, and served incredibly quickly. The service was exceptionally efficient, and the team were so friendly and helpful. The surroundings are warm, cosy, and tastefully decorated, making for a thoroughly enjoyable experience. We cannot wait to return.”

“Had the carvery. All the vegetables were lovely, perfectly cooked. Roasties would have been nicer with a fluffier type of potato. Roast beef beautiful. Perfect apple crumble with loads of custard. Lovely waitress and lovely manager from the Hesketh which closed down and is still missed.”

“I’ve walked past this place hundreds of times and never thought much of it. Today I fancied a curry, so order from here wow. Beautiful, fresh, and authentic. The portion sizes was just right, the curry sauce was beautiful, rice nice and fresh and the Nan bread just gorgeous. I don’t have curry often but from now on i’ll always go here. Also, really good price and super speedy delivery.”

“Probably the best day-time café-style eatery in the Salford area. I'd be hard pressed to find anywhere better west of Manchester Centre! A family-run business with bags of character; Paul and Sarah are really friendly. By the time you've been a couple of times, all they ask is 'Usual?'. They are open from 7:30am for breakfast. By late morning the variety of food on offer is immense, including a really nice tapas menu, staying open for tapas till 4pm. Paul is a full-on chef who loves his trade, constantly adding superb dishes and making suggestions when he has found something new that he thinks you'd like. They love looking after folks, and will even open for a party if you book it with them. Highly recommended.”

“Hadn't booked, but given great table at front of restaurant. Made to feel very welcome. Menu not huge, but descriptions full and explanatory. 3 different dishes, all equally delicious. Best Bengal meal ever. I've travelled down from Scotland to visit family, but will definitely come back.”

The drinks were good and not very expensive. The toilets upstairs were clean and tidy even though it was towards the end of the night.”
