“Stumbled across this place by mistake. Well, it was a great mistake because the food was amazing. Very quick, tasty and fresh. It wasn’t bland, and the bread they used was soft and fresh too, the sauces used made the shawarma extra tasty. Recommend it for sure and would definitely visit again. Not too pricey either.”

“First time ordering from here 9/10 had the Donner kebab Donner meat is one of the best I've had nice and soft thin little bit crispy round the edges just how I like it no gristle seasoned really well chips was lovely salad was nice and fresh only thing I wasn't keen on was the naan bread was different to what I normally have so will get pitta next time but overall brilliant tasty food will deffo be my go to for a kebab from now on good pricing and good portion sizes”

“Thank you for the incredible food and excellent service at Shaam. Everything we ordered was beautifully presented and tasted delicious. I couldn’t help but notice the same care and attention given to the dishes on other tables as well, all accompanied by a wonderful aroma. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to make my birthday special by bringing out a slice of cake with a candle, creating a lovely atmosphere. My only suggestion would be to offer a variety of music, and we did notice a few bothersome flies from time to time.”

“There are a limited number of parking places available very close to the restaurant on the main road and we were very lucky to get one just outside the fire station. We were welcomed very warmly and the waitress immediately offered to open the wine we had brought as you can bring your own wine with no corkage charge! We were also offered a jug of tap water which came with ice and lemon. For starters we had the Pasha baba Ghanouj, Chicken Bourak and Kibbeh Makli and all of them were excellent with the baba Ghanouj being one of the best we'd had - even better than in Istanbul. For mains I had the mixed kebab, which was one skewer of lamb cubes, one of chicken cubes and one of minced lamb. All of the meat was lovely and tender with a lovely hint of spice and I would say they were all cooked perfectly. The sauces accompanying them was also great. We also had some rice with vermicelli and a portion of tabouleh which was delicious. The service was very friendly and helpful and my only slight gripe was that the tables are rather close together and it would be rather difficult to have a cosy, intimate dinner here. However, the food was excellent and I love being able to take my own wine as I know it will be good and I wont be paying way over the odds for it. Pity its not nearer home!”

“Very tasty food, well condimented, fast table service. Monday lunch time almost no customers, the shopping centre was so quiet, we enjoyed that. First time in Arndale shopping centre and Doner Shack, we enjoyed the food. The doner/bread nice and crunchy on the outside, fair portion, but when we got the fries kebab that was like a 2 people portion, huge and very tasty.”
