“Amazing venue! The only place I found that do literally everything for you all within a very reasonable price! Booked in April for a surprise baby shower yesterday and it was perfect! The room was all decorated perfectly with the cutest little touches, Nat did the buffet for us which was lovely and fresh with a good variety of food! Bar was stocked with lots of different drinks & the bouncy castle was the best thing to keep the kids entertained and safe! Herself & dale literally couldn’t have done anymore for us! 10/10 experience & will definitely recommend! Thank you so much xxx”

“First trip to Oldham town centre for almost 50 years! Oldham road once had pubs on almost every corner as you headed there from Manchester City Centre, many from the long gone Oldham brewery. Madge fancied a trip on the Metro and we spotted this pub in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide. Well worth the trip for just this corner pub. A bank of ten real ales. Great vibe plus a front pavement seating area. Madge found a new Oldham brewery..We are Wolf. Bar snacks incl sausage rolls. Great visit.”

“Really nice lil cafe, friendly staff, the coffee here is amaaaaazingly good a must try also the food looks top drawer!!! Chris and his partner the owners really nice down to earth people, if your in Uppermill pls go find this lovely lil hidden cafe entrance is on the front and go downstairs really well appointed estab sit on the river and forget about the daily grind also some under canope seating if the weather's not the best.”

“I’ve been coming to The Hare and Hounds in Middleton week after week, and I can honestly say I’ve never had a bad experience here. “We turned up as a party of 5, late notice on a Sunday evening after a long drive from the West Country. Despite the kitchen about to close, the lady who served us was extremely accommodating and we were soon served with absolutely lovely Sunday roast dinners; delicious food and plenty of it, nothing was too much trouble. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Lovely atmosphere and a nice clean and friendly pub.”

“Perfect local pub. Family friendly, great atmosphere, warm welcome and so, so friendly. Great range of beers and spirits and an unrivalled juke box. Large room for functions with djaying facilities and in the summer there are plenty of tables outside with beautiful views over the green and beyond, all the way to Winter Hill in Horwich. Thank you for making us feel at home. Lots of laughs and a great day/night. Stayed far too long! Will definitely return again and again and again! :-)”

“What a welcoming pub. A group of us visited after the Oldham vs Woking game on Tuesday night. We were away fans, but made to feel at home straight away! Christine & Jess looked after us so well and we were even bought a round of drinks from one of the locals. We will definitely recommend The Rifle Range and be sure to visit for longer next time. “Met some friends for a few beers before going to a restaurant for a meal and went back to Angel after and they had Kareoke on, it was very busy and the atmosphere was very good, nice to see a pub doing well.”

“Great local pub with friendly staff and good prices on beer. Just beware of ordering spirits as they can end up being very expensive for a double. Sunday dinner is really cheap and cheerful at less than 7 quid for a HUGE plate of food that even a fat guy like me can never finish. Saturday night atmosphere is great with karaoke.”

“Arguably one of the best Donner Wraps that I've had in a long, long time. The mests are very flavoursome and they're not dry like some other places. The prices are reasonable and it's definitely worth the money. Chips taste nice too and you get a good selection of 3 sauces which is a nice added extra. Didn't have to wait a long time to get my food either. I'd buy my Donner from here any day rather than the cheaper takeaways nearby. The salad and sauce that comes on the Wrap is also very tasty! Always updating their menu too which is good to see.”
