“Veterans Breakfast club every Monday. Great place to pull up a sandbag and have a good old chat. Anita, Steve,Alan & Julie the fantastic 4 . Alan & Steve take your order then then even bring g it to you after Anita & Julie have worked relentlessly in the kitchen smashing out Breakfast after breakfast. All you do is sit back and drink as much tea & coffee as you can and put the world to rights. 9.30 - 11.30. The only rules are you need to book in advance so they have an idea of how much food they are going to need.”

“With so many options along Liverpool road, this place does seem to stand out in terms of quality. The sauces are really tasty and company the kebabs well. On this occasion, I had a mixed Kebab, and chips, all came quickly and was great value for money for the fantastic portion size. Usually in a crowded market, quality suffers, but this foot was tasty, and hot when it arrived. I have been to this place maybe a dozen times and id say it was the most consistent and for your typical kebab shop style food, the best of the bunch along Liverpool road”

“So worth a visit! Amazing interior, lovely place. Had Sunday roast, which was good - not the best in my life as is not served with mash and Yorkshire pudding wasn't home made, but it hasnt spoilt the experience as beef was really good quality!”

The bonds they have made with staff as well as friends have been amazing! Both of my children have dietary issues and I have felt very much supported with these and any issues with changing their routines have been met with complete support and professionalism! “After moving to Manchester, we’ve never found somewhere that does authentic Chinese takeaway food that isn’t super overpriced until TODAY. Delicious food, big portions (be aware of big portions as we ended up with so much food) We ordered on Friday night and the food was ready quicker than expected and still very hot when we got home. We highly recommend crispy duck pancakes and sweet & sour chicken. 10/10 customer service, greeted by a very friendly lady at the shop and we had a quick chat. It was so lovely finding out that we’re supporting a small family owned business. We will definitely be back.”

It was awesome, she is an amazing cook, the food was outstanding and made me feel like i was actually back in Thailand .. at £30 per head probably the best Thai meal i have ever had in the UK ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“A fine Edwardian pub with decent tiles, good woodwork and etched glass.Overall plenty of period features.Not quite as grand as the Lamb Hotel but well worth a visit.Good bitter nice staff enjoyed my visit.Well done Holts for not ruining this pub”
