“Been to the Farmers Arms and Fidelma was serving barmaid.... I can honestly say the service she gave was top notch, I've worked in bars all my life and people are quick to complain yet hesitate to compliment.... The warm welcome and friendly atmosphere is boosted by this lady's personality! The landlord/landlady who ever they may be are extremely lucky to have such a fantastic member of staff working for them and hopefully she is rewarded for her attitude towards the customers, I can whole heartedly say I will be returning due to warming atmosphere and welcoming attitude from this woman alone..... Completely recommend visiting this establishment, we have not been disappointed.... Fantastic service, well done.”

“Took friends here for Sunday lunch, we've never been before and we were very happy with the welcome we all received, even our 2 dogs were welcome. The Sunday lunch was, literally the best pub one we've ever had, plenty on our plates and tasted delicious. The service was also great, a very polite, smiling young lady served us. “My son and I went in half 6 Saturday evening having just phoned ahead to check. Pub was bustling with a good atmosphere and the restaurant was filling up. Lovely friendly staff tended to us throughout the meal which was delicious! I had the chicken fillet, which had lovely crispy skin and the caramelised onion and potato gratin was fantastic and all held together with a great sauce. He had rump steak, medium rare, which was really nicely cooked. Desserts were equally good. I had sticky toffee pudding which was moist with lots of toffee sauce and a really generous helping of ice cream. He had the chocolate and salted caramel cake which was chocoholics heaven! Highly recommended.”

“Family run & extremely friendly pub, great atmosphere and they have a fantastic function room and cater for functions held there. Beer garden to the front for when the weather is good and they even have a pool room. Would recommend this pub all day long..”

“Very good pub owned by Manchester Metropolitan University and run by the student union. The pub is a tap for the Bollington Brewery and had five cask beers - and 1 cider - on handpump when I visited. Lots of outdoor seating most of it covered.”

“Visited Coast for lunch today and was greeted by a very friendly member of staff who showed us to our lovely table in the conservatory part of the restaurant. Drinks were served very quickly which was good. Water was served as an addition without asking. We shared a pate starter followed by Risotto and a Pizza. The staff were very attentative and could not do enough.”

“So I called here as I needed delivery and was so in the mood for a curry. Knutford doesn't really deliver and the one nice restaurant that does was so busy as closed due to refurbishment. So I thought if try here. I'm so glad I did, the guy who answered the phone was so helpful and helped me pick the best curry based upon the description I gave of what I wanted. I'm out of the catchment area so paid more for delivery and I would again because the food was so delicious and I haven't got 1 thing to complain about, and I complain about anything that's anything but perfect!
