“If you're thinking about getting new furniture I would definitely check out this place first. Very reasonable prices that always reflect the condition of the furniture- of which the condition is usually great. There's also a delivery service which is immensely helpful. I'm not sure if there's a charge for it although I would imagine it's nominal. The cafe upstairs is lovely too. Very reasonably priced and a great selection of drinks and food. The choices range from snacks and cakes through to meals so there's something to satisfy whatever mood you're in. All raising money for such a great place in the hospice too.”

“One of Tamesides hidden gems. The main entrance has 2 big open spaces for ball games etc. A young children's play area with a gated sand pit and further up the hill an older children's play area with climbing frames. But the best bit is the public orchard at the top of the hill and the wildlife sanctuary plus a plethora of wild walking paths. Popular with dog walkers (please pick up your dogs waste) and families alike. A good stroll around Cheathams will get the heart pumping and is a joy for the eye. 10/10.”

“Just had our first weekend at Alton Towers, we had a brilliant time, really well organised. The social dancing was great fun, and being up close with the dancers was amazing. There are two things I would change/review , 1) the food at dinner wasn’t great, and there is no excuse for a hotel to serve food on cold plates. This is not Donaheys fault, but worth mentioning. 2) The red carpet photo call is just a photo opportunity, due to time constraints etc, there isn’t the ability to have any individual photos. But make sure you get to the red carpet on the Saturday black tie ball as they look amazing. We’ve booked again for next year and can’t wait ! This weekend has encouraged us to join a Dance School, hopefully next year we may be wearing blue wristbands!”

Everyone is absolutely lovely, and one big happy family. Each day brings many new exciting challenges which she thoroughly enjoys. Little trips to local places of interest the days more interesting and helps with child development. Lots of photos showing different activities and giving parents and grandparents an insight to the daily activities is a big bonus. A massive thumbs up from us. “We ordered the AK burger and the clucking hell burger. Both absolutely delicious, generous portions and really well presented.We had the waffle with mint aero too which was amazing. I preordered and it was ready bang on time, staff are really friendly and the shop itself is really clean and modern, they should really think about opening a restaurant! The only downfall is that as it’s so close to my house I’m probably going to put all the lockdown weight back on that I’ve just tried to shift. “My daughter has been going since she was 18minths old. She starts school this year and is still going. She loves it. Everyone is friendly the facilities are great and you get so much more flexibility with government hours because they're private. Staff are a little disorganized but no complaints other than that. Would recommend to anyone”

“Popped in because it just looked interesting. Saw "Tameside" gin and was intrigued. I asked the barman to surprise me. He made me a Blood Orange Gin and Lemonade and it was absolutely fantastic. He told me a bit about the origin of it and knew his products. I can heartily recommend you at least pip in for 1 and sit in what is a truly lovely place while you enjoy a delicious glass of gin. Fantastic.”
