“delicious burrito! love the bbq pork filling and smoky chipotle sauce! very friendly service from the staff on duty, and the seating area is air conditioned (i visited during a heatwave) the menu is clear and easy to understand, and has a simple/transparent price structure - it's reallt nice that there were no hidden extra charges for each veg or sauce you add!”

It’s on the expensive side for the portions you get, but I’d say it is still reasonable value. As per any good Mexican culinary establishment, Jarritos were available. I recommend pineapple or mango. Delivery seemed efficient, with a reasonable speed and items arrived in good condition. The packaging is elegant and tasteful. “I had such a good burrito here! Super generous portions, tasty filling and so many toppings to choose from. Almost opted to get fries, but so glad I didn't as the burrito was huge. Good options for vegetarians. The lady who served me was friendly and patient too. Would recommend!”

“I arrived at 10:35, and they still weren’t open — in fact, they actually open at 10:45. But the guy who served us was very nice and friendly. I waited for the order for about 6 minutes, and they gave me a box with a burrito, taco, fries, and churros for only $10.99! Delicious, quick and cheap!”

“This was our go to during the pandemic (when things were open, of course!). Lovely staff and great service! The decor is great, TVs everywhere which was great for the football games and even the manager is lovely! We will definitely miss it now it’s back open as a nightclub/bar again.”

“I came to French Tacos at 03:00 in the morning after a long day of work and wanted a quick bite to eat before I headed off home to sleep. As I stepped foot into French Tacos, I was greeted by the 2 guys at the counter, as it was my first time I wasn’t sure what option to choose as there was so many delicious options to choose from the menu, so they helped me out and recommended I try a mixed meat wrap. Whilst waiting I was asked how my day was and had a great chat with the guys. The mixed wrap I had been recommended was really nice and delicious, I loved the potion size and the mixed meats inside the wrap it went so well especially with the cheese. It was perfect. Anyone new to this place or exploring it online for places to eat?, I completely recommend you try this place. Thank you lots to the owners.”

“Lit up from the outside this venue is very welcoming. Soft ambient lighting indoors always gives a romantic feel drawing you to go inside. Also the promise of 2 for 1 cocktails might have something to do with it. I have eaten here a few times now and it lived up to expectations in every way. Inside the lighting does seem quite dim but adds to the atmosphere and the decor is rustic Caribbean and this makes you imagine you are in a different country. Everything is brightly coloured and fun. I have been fortunate enough never to have to book in advance but have seen it both very busy and also quite at other times. The table sauces look scary hot but do compliment the food incredibly. Even the toilets represent a beach hut feel. Food has never been fast to come out no matter how busy it is but worth the wait when it does. Also Jamaican Red Stripe lager on tap for as true Caribbean feel. Did I mention the cocktails. Food wise I have tried the Jerk chicken breast and half Jerk chicken. Both made with ghost chilli pepper sauce. Yes it's hot but you can still taste the flavours. Looking forward to my next visit.”

“Just eaten from crazy panchos, absolutely amazing, we got two burritos and some loaded fries with chilli and some Mexican drinks and the portion sizes are very big and I am stuffed but still couldn’t stop eating!!! “The best pub in the NQ, great layout, atmosphere and outside area that’s perfect for all occasions. We’ve been here a few times for bottomless brunch and it’s been faultless, great value, great food and even better service. They also have a good happy hour on cocktails and pints. Recently we went specifically for food, trying out their new spring menu. The food was fantastic, classic British menu done to perfection and it’s an absolute bargain in comparison to other pubs of a similar calibre in Manchester. The fish and chips was huge and absolutely delicious, the batter was so different to any other fish and chips I’ve had and it was thoroughly enjoyable. The steak pie was full of meat and incredibly fresh and rich. It really superseded our expectations. Given the quality of the food and the portions I’d say they could charge more but they keep it at great value. The service was also fantastic considering it was busy, our server Katie S was excellent, attentive and even wished my mum a happy birthday which I’d forgotten I put on the booking notes. Thanks for a great afternoon, we’ll be back to try the rest of the menu. It’s a must visit for anyone in Manchester.”
