“I was born and bred in Thailand and this is the best Thai fusion food you’ll ever find in Manchester - It is a little pricey but it’s well worth it for a special night out. I cannot find any Thai restaurant in Manchester that offers Kao-Soi(Northern-style curry noodles) and Sai-Oua (lemongrass and herbs sausage) on the menu! I was very impressed with how they executed both. Went twice and will return. Cocktails are nice too.”

“I use this Chippy anytime I want A Chippy Tea or a Chinese... - Their Chinese food is excellent - always cooked fresh and just what you order... The Chippy side is also freshly cooked - They don't cook 20 portions at a time - so your chips are going to be fresh! (You might have to wait a few minutes...) I have been going here for over 10 years and never had a problem... The Gravy is nice if you want Pudding, Chips and Gravy - (Sometimes a problem with Chinese chippy's!)”

“Met a friend for dinner after work (no reservations) and we had the early diner set meal. Mixed starters, salt & pepper prawns and sweet & sour chicken for mains with egg fried rice and pineapple fritters with icecream to finish. Everything was delicious! Menu highlights were the chicken and the seaweed starter. I had an espresso with my pudding too and it was the nicest coffee I’ve had in ages.”

“My sister and I attended a Thai cookery experience at Thaikhun in Soinningfields Manchester. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole session. It was very well organised starting with a hot drink on arrival and a cocktail or mocktail with the main course that we had cooked. Noon and Layla were excellent teachers, explaining all the ingredients and processes in detail and making the whole experience interesting and enjoyable. I would highly recommend this as a fun thing to do with family and/or friends. We left with an apron, a book of recipes, a 15% discount voucher for the restaurant and leftovers from the starter and main course we had cooked.”

“The Birches is a very welcoming pub, great atmosphere with an open fireplace to warm any weary traveller. A great selection of beers and larger, I had a glass of their Australian Shiraz, which was very nice; much nicer than what is usually served in pubs. Food is served using locally sourced produce. It is traditional, very well cooked, and served on nice warm plates. Recommended to all.”

“Stumbled across this place last night after hiking in Bamford Edge, we ordered 3 x fish and chips and a sausage. Fish is very fresh and crispy and the ordering system is very good, making sure everyone is safe whilst picking up their orders. Lovely staff as well. Despite being so busy when I came in to collect, the staff members were so polite and helpful by suggesting a few dishes for my family to try. Top dishes: Crispy Aromatic Duck - perfectly cooked tender meat Wet Special Chow Mein - filled with meat and delicious sauce Singapore Vermicelli - tasty and flavourful dish, never had anything quite like it This will now be our go to Chinese, definitely recommend!”
