I went to Lucy with over 2 years of knee pain, constantly taking breaks between inflammation, running on a pain gauge, and getting no further with with an unsuccessful physio elsewhere, I felt like I was hitting a brick wall. After listening to my concerns, she diagnosed me correctly and helped me rehab, and after a few months l am so happy to be back doing what I love. “The best person to leave your dog with! I can’t say enough good things about Debby and how great she has been at looking after my puppy George. He adores her and loves going to doggy day care with her. I know when I drop him off I don’t have to worry and can set off for work rest assured George is going to have an amazing day and be well looked after. After lockdown I was called back into work with short notice and I tried leaving George on his own for a few days for short periods and when seeing how distressed he was I searched for a doggy day care online. After seeing Debby’s reviews I sent an online enquiry and she called me within a few minutes, offered me to pop over there and then to see her house and meet her and now George goes to her five days a week and I wouldn’t want him anywhere else. She has a great set-up in her home and garden where everything is secure and I feel like it’s another home for George where he is shown love and affections as well as being able to socialise with other dogs. He gets lots of exercise, playtime and food and I get to pick him up at the end of each day super happy and pretty tired which is perfect for me after a long day in work. Debby is always accommodating and I know she will always make decisions based on what is best for all the dogs to make sure they are happy and safe. I know there are larger set ups for doggy day-care but what I love about Debby’s house is it’s George’s second home and he will only ever be around other dogs that have been vetted by Debby to ensure they can play safely. Debby sends regular updates throughout the day of George having lots of fun and he is so desperate to get to hers in the morning he barely eats breakfast! I really couldn’t recommend a better person to look after your dog! Thank you Debby!”

“This baby sensory class is brilliant and Katie is so friendly! I went to Bloom classes with my son 3 years ago and now I’m going again with my daughter and we love it! The class is fun and engaging with props provided, singing/dancing and even baby massage at the end to relax the little ones! I’d recommend this class to anyone who has a baby and I’ll be sad when my little one will be too old to come to them!”

“We visited the shop today and were extremely happy with the service we received. They were very knowledgeable and friendly. We went in for football boots and the owner gave my children tennis balls for free and even played 'football' with my son. It started to rain lightly when we were leaving and they even offered to lend us an umbrella. We will definitely go back again.”

“Fantastic preschool setting with very passionate and caring staff. My daughter attended this preschool and I cannot recommend it enough. It was a huge factor in her development especially during covid when the usual socialisation opportunities were extremely few and far between. Now she has started school and teacher's positive feedback on her preparedness level starting reception, social skills and confidence prompted me to write this review. Children are offered a wide range of activities and learning opportunities as well as fantastic support to explore and develop their personalities. Keep up the good work!”

“Bowden House provides a wonderful setting for your child to thrive. Having had my older son at another local and reputable nursery and from talking to friends, I can honestly say it sits head and shoulders above the rest. Not only is the setting small and intimate, the staff are friendly to children and parents alike. My little boy had a special relationship with his key worker Ruby, who was always so bubbly and positive with him. Although he only attended two days a week would talk about her a lot and was always excited to go to nursery. The nursery keeps parents well informed of activities for the week ahead (always varied, creative and educational) and provide regular updates on your child’s progress. I highly recommend this nursery to anyone looking in the locality.”

“Great club, great sensei's, friendly family atmosphere. Brilliant place to learn for adults and children alike. Sensei's Debbie & David are brilliant karateka and instructors. I'm always amazed at how much we cover in their classes without missing out on technical detail, it is always very high quality instruction. I have no idea how they manage it. You couldn't ask for a better team of coaches and instructors. Highly recommended to anyone starting their karate journey or wanting to get back in karate, you won't be disappointed!”
