“Brilliant food concept, a mix of English and Chinese food which never goes wrong. I've been there twice and never been disappointed in anything. High quality food, very good service, restaurant clean and quirky, and also very important, prices are very reasonable. The menu offers a wide range of meat, fish, vegetarian and vegan dishes, and include good deals, brunch and bottomless service! They also offer delivery service if you leave in the area. 100% raccomended.”

“The staff here have great knowledge and are incredibly helpful. I requested a case of 12 wines as a gift and the packaging and presentation were fabulous. “If there was an option for 6 stars, this pub would get it. Came here after a walk in the area and walked in to friendly staff and a warm fire. It was a weekday so not so busy we got a table straight away. You think it can't get better. It does. The pie was amazing, mash was amazing and gravy was amazing too. Such lovely food we had to get dessert and that was, as predicted, amazing. Can't wait to come back here again and try the other food on the menu, really exceptionally good pub to come.”

“Thee staff were warm and attentive, making us feel welcome from the start. The food was absolutely delicious, and the portions were more than generous. We had both starters and mains, and honestly, we were too full to even consider dessert. It’s definitely on the pricier side, but the quality and experience made it well worth it. “I recently won a competition for a free meal at Gonbay. I remember this place from years ago and how good it was. We visited on Saturday night and was pleased to say it hasn’t changed a bit! The staff were outstanding and so welcoming. The speed of the food to the table was exactly how I like it. Enough time between each course and not waiting forever. The food was fantastic. Chicken skewers in satay sauce and honey spare ribs to start, followed by sweet and sour chicken , chicken foo yung, egg fried rice and salt and pepper chips for mains. All had a great taste and flavour and we were well and truly stuffed at the end! Thank you all so much and we will certainly be back very soon!”

“Just back from a lovely themed night at Aspire Restaurant at Traffordd College - fabulous value and great food. Really good prices for quality drinks too. We had a 3 course meal with additional appetisers on arrival and coffee with a sweet treat at the end and 2 alcoholic drinks each including their fabulous award winning Rhubard Gin Cocktail (delicious) All in it came to £50.20 for the 2 of us plus of course we left service on top of that. So pleased to have revisited and looking forward to more meals there going forwards. Well done Aspire!”

“Was here for a Christmas party. The food for our event was buffet style finger foods but with class not cheap stuff & tasted really nice!. Staff around were nice & polite. The venue was suitable for us with plenty of spacious seating & the dance floor with DJ booth was a decent size to boogie the night away. As is with most places around this area of Altrincham it's a little pricey- Paid £5 for a bottle of alcohol but in the area it is there's plenty of people with deep pockets. Had a really enjoyable night after a crappy week.”

“After reading negative reviews on here, I wasn't sure what to expect but I was really impressed by Townfields. It's not cheap but it's a proper restaurant and all such places cost these days. The point is, it's worth it. I considered removing a star for the staff being nothing like as knowledgeable as they should be for the standard of the establishment. But I decided that would be churlish. The service was good, it was friendly and it was quick. The atmosphere is relaxed and tranquil, just right for a quiet night out. The food, though, is what stands out. The two of us ordered different things over three courses and all six dishes were top quality. A bit different, beautifully presented and memorably delicious. Definitely recommended.”

“I have been a regular customer for almost 6 years and I have always been very happy with the food and the service, regardless of how I ordered (via an app or in the restaurant). When we fancy Indian food, this is our go-to place. No other Indian restaurant even comes close. The food is always fresh, piping hot, perfectly balanced, and the service is always so pleasant. Even my little one, who is one very picky eater, adores the food from Saffron Balti. We order more or less the same every time; onion bhaji, peshawari naan, egg rice, and chicken tikka makhani or chicken tikka masala. Highly recommended!”
