“Great place, lots of different areas to sit, lovely food at a great price, great outdoor seating at the back, very friendly welcoming staff. Went there for a drink in the weekend and it was packed. Really appreciate the service as it was way faster than I was thinking. We will have to pay as you buy which is a great way as we don't want to worry about the bills and tips. Food is amazing I ordered a cooked chicken which as very juicer and well cooked and tasty. We have ordered a couple of drinks which was in a reasonable price. Loved the place and atmosphere definitely suggested to everyone want to have a good time. Only problem I think was with the parking, they don't have any parking as we have to find places in the nearby streets, which isn't so nice, but it's ok as it sits on the main road.”

“So, fundamentally this was a really nice place. The atmosphere is modern yet comfortable. I felt it was clean and well-looked after and I did not find anything obvious out of place. Our party was there for a wedding reception and there were quite a lot of us. We ordered a lot of food and although I felt that the service was a little slow perhaps, I didn't find it slow to the point of questioning it as, after all, they were cooking approximately 20 meals from scratch. I ordered lamb shank and crème brule and I really enjoyed the lamb. I found it to be well cooked and definitely enjoyed my meal. As far as I am aware most of our party enjoyed their meal and we found nothing to complain about with the food at all. The service was actually really pro-active and helpful and I got the impression that nothing was too much trouble and the staff were really polite.”

“Gareth made our fantastic bedroom furniture in 2013. After visiting his amazing 'showroom' we agreed a design for two wardrobes and a chest of drawers which he then created out of English oak and Cedar of Lebanon. Due to restricted access to the bedroom (small cottage) Gareth built the furniture in components and then finished the build in situ. Nothing was too much trouble for him... his only fault being working too hard and finishing up having his lunch at about 4 o'clock in the afternoon! Prior to the furniture he made 4 Oak internal doors and frames for us... again fantastic design and quality. Highly recommended!”

“Bowden House provides a wonderful setting for your child to thrive. Having had my older son at another local and reputable nursery and from talking to friends, I can honestly say it sits head and shoulders above the rest. Not only is the setting small and intimate, the staff are friendly to children and parents alike. My little boy had a special relationship with his key worker Ruby, who was always so bubbly and positive with him. Although he only attended two days a week would talk about her a lot and was always excited to go to nursery. The nursery keeps parents well informed of activities for the week ahead (always varied, creative and educational) and provide regular updates on your child’s progress. I highly recommend this nursery to anyone looking in the locality.”

“Thoroughly impressed! Our daughter has just finished her first term at the United Reform Church in Bramhall. Tutors are excellent and clearly very competent, they really seem able to engage the children and in the first term put on a 15-20min production where you could see all the children were having a blast. All the children remained engaged and all the parents were so proud! Highly recommend!”

I recently went to see David Shirley at Strategem FP. Not only is extremely knowledgable on a wide range of financial planning aspects, he's also very approachable. I told him my ideas on an investment strategy (which would have given him some fee paying work). David listened, then spent quite some time explaining why my strategy was not the optimal one for me, and provided me with an alternative strategy, which was best for me, although didn't provide him with any fees. It's safe to say that he really does act in the clients' best interest. I will more business people operated like David. Highly recommended.”
