“Highly recommended to anyone needing dental work done, the team here go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and take pride in the standards of their work. After my false crown finally gave up after a decade, cracking the tooth root in the process, I needed to understand my options and what choice was right for me. From the very first consultation Phil and the staff were excellent, explaining to me all options, possible risks, what to expect and how the process would work. They showed me the scans so I could see for myself what was had happened and what could be done. I chose to go for a dental implant which, given we are hopeful it will last decades for me, is actually a responsible investment to restore my smile. Although quite unsettling for me, both to actually lose a tooth and also to face an unknown surgery involving worrying phrases such as 'drill into the bone' and 'reshape the gums' Phil has seen this kind of problem many times before and his confidence in being able to make it right counts for a lot. I left the building with a timetable of my treatment and the price quoted was the one I paid, it never changed. After a few weeks of treatment I have now had the old root extracted and implant placed in one session, and recently had the permanent crown fitted after allowing a few weeks for healing. It was all done with care and consideration and I am so pleased with the result. The only time I was a little sore during the process was after the extraction, which is to be expected, but I was handed a bag of aftercare products and followed up on by the staff the day after. A week or so later I was fine. I felt nothing as the implant was set into my jawbone, and only a pinch when the permanent crown was set into the gum. Should you need dental work doing then do consider these guys, they know what they are doing and take a personal satisfaction in doing the job well.”

“I was in really bad pain with my wisdom tooth and needed a complicated extraction. Other oral surgeons deemed me at high risk as it was close to my nerve in my jaw. Dr. Jussab was able to attend to me in short notice and took it out easily. Didn’t damage the nerve and I now feel a lot better thanks to him! Would highly recommend!”

“My filling broke on my tooth days before going on holiday. Phoned Poynton dental practice on the Saturday evening and was given an appointment midday Sunday. On arrival was greeted by the dentist who was friendly and polite. He explained everything about the treatment on offer and let me decide for myself. I decided to have it refilled and will have it capped at a later day. I was given the choice of music to be played in the back ground while the procedure took place. I was seen by Malcolm and his dental nurse Paul, who were both very efficient and made me feel at ease straight away. “To be honest, I am terrified of the dentist. I’ve had some really bad experiences throughout the years. My Dad took me to Greys when I was experiencing really bad pain and no dentist was listening. I’m not scared of going to see Simon, he is always really calm and takes his time with whatever procedure he is doing. Best dentist I have ever seen, hands down. “Fantastic dental surgery. Been at this dentist my whole life and all of the staff I have encountered have been lovely and competent. I have had lots of check ups and various treatments over the years and they have always provided me with high quality care. They especially have been very understanding and supportive of me as a person with a severe needle phobia and have allowed me to have procedures such as fillings without anaesthetic at my request but equally have supported me very well when I have had to have procedures such as tooth extraction where needles have been essential to the treatment, even prescribing me with diazepam prior to the extraction to ease some of the anxiety. The only issue I have ever had is that I do struggle to contact them via telephone as my calls often ring out or go to voicemail. Otherwise a genuinely fantastic dental surgery, can't rate them high enough!”

“I recently when to this dentist for composite veneers with Dr James and couldn’t be happier with the out come. I first spoke to Laura to get me booked in and she was very efficient and helpful. I then had my free consultation and compared to other places I have been to they do not compare to what Dr James has to offer, he talked me through the teeth whitening and actually showed me what my teeth would look like with the composite veneers and took scans and x rays of my teeth. Once completing my final appointment I have walked out very happy with my composite veneers and received many compliments on how natural they look.
