This was my first time in the salon with the lovely Megan, and what a wonderful experience it was. You are made to feel very welcome. I was offered a drink straight away and received a lovely fresh coffee in a Cafetière on a tray. What a lovely touch. Megan was absolutely fantastic with me, and so knowledgeable. Having been light blonde for many years, I decided that now was the time for a complete change and to go darker. I listened to Megan’s recommendation on how to achieve this gradually, which I appreciated. It was so interesting just watching intently as Megan went to work. Well, all I can say is wow! Absolutely love the colour and waves. I left that salon feeling like a different woman and quite emotional actually. Everyone I spoke to complemented me on my hair. “We were looking for a breakfast in Denton, we found this little gem just opposite Lidl, oh what a great find it was! Smiling owner, very cosy and making you wanna go back! Very reasonably priced and menus sticking to your hands not because they were dirty but because they’re so nice to touch and browse! We’ll be definitely back for the roast and other menu items (pizza etc). Some music (Italian maybe?) would be nice.”

“Our ”Tuesday club” went to birdandbeemcr today for the first time. They were 5 of us (usually 7) and we all opted for the bacon bun. Now this was not just any bacon bun - it was filled with crispy streaky bacon, with a cheesy, sumptuous little omelette on top - some of us had it on brioche & some on local sourdough. With pot of freshly brewed tea to go with it, it was delicious. One of us had a latte which was very professionally done too. They’ve only been open for a week but we’ll definitely to back to sample more great food. Sorry I didn’t take a pic but I’d finished it before I remembered!”

“Had the carvery. All the vegetables were lovely, perfectly cooked. Roasties would have been nicer with a fluffier type of potato. Roast beef beautiful. Perfect apple crumble with loads of custard. Lovely waitress and lovely manager from the Hesketh which closed down and is still missed.”

“My son has been been going to this hairdressers since he was a little boy - he’s now 17. He’s very anxious, and gets quite upset in spaces that are not familiar. But here he has never once felt uncomfortable. He’s always been treated with respect despite his age, and he is always very happy to go because they listen to him and ask him what he wants.
