“Great entertainment for my daughters birthday party. 37 kids seemed to agree! Julie's face painting was top notch and Chris knew how to engage with the kids. And the parents for that matter. Good value for money and they know what they are doing, turned up early and got set up in no time with an impressive backdrop and props. Would recommend. Great stuff.”

“Visited today to buy a new tennis racquet. Plenty of up to date models and we were able to play with them on a court in order to choose which one was right. Left with a lovely racquet I wouldn't have looked at had it not been suggested to me. Also massive sale of all clothing items £5 each from big sports brands. Bought a new wardrobe! Thanks guys”

“Myself and my partner absolutely love this Bella Italia in particular. We live in Peterborough and we always make the extra effort of coming here. The food, professionalism and service is completely top marks. On our visit on Sunday we were served by Josh, who was simply excellent couldn't fault him or his professionalism. I'm a sucker for the garlic dough balls and the garlic butter dip which is beyond words (I would pay for a jar). My partner hadn't eaten all, so the chefs and Josh helped with finding us the right amount of food. This is one of my absolute favourite restaurants for a reason, you won't be disappointed. I will be coming here for years to come.”

“Attentive staff, food was good, atmosphere was great too - I cant wait for them to have live entertainment as I'd return to enjoy that. Staff were knowledgable about the menu. The flavour if the 1/2 chicken was lovely. The coleslaw felt expensive for a small portion (half a cup) that didnt really offer much more (flavour and quality) than a standard/homemade coleslaw. Otherwise, food was perfect. Covid measures - everything was regularly cleaned, there were perspex divides between us and the next table plus outside seating available. Face masks worn by all staff and customers when moving around.”

“Went for a Sunday roast and was so pleasantly surprised by the quality - my partner had the chicken roast and I had a smaller chicken roast (really appreciate that’s there’s smaller portions available) and the meat was so flavourful. The potatoes are the best I’ve had and all the sides were also really tasty especially the cheesy leeks. Had biscoff tiramisu for dessert and it was delicious too! Shout out as well to our incredible server and barmaid Poppy, she genuinely looked after us and she was just incredible.”

“I visited Lounge India in Marston Moretaine last week for a catch-up dinner with some close friends, and it turned out to be such a great evening. The staff were really helpful with recommendations, and everything we ordered was spot on. If you’re unsure what to go for, I’d definitely suggest letting them guide you. To start, we shared a few plates — the tandoori king prawns were absolutely delicious, the vegetable samosas were crisp and full of flavour, and the paneer tikka was a big hit with everyone at the table. We also tried the mixed grill, which was packed with different meats and cooked beautifully. For mains, I went for the chicken tikka masala, which was rich and creamy, while one of my friends had the lamb balti that was full of spice and depth. Another stand-out was the prawn korma, which was wonderfully smooth and fragrant. We paired everything with a mix of pilau rice, mushroom rice, and some fresh naan breads — the garlic naan in particular was incredible. I’ve been a few times before, and the warm welcome from the staff is always consistent, which makes the experience even better. My friends really enjoyed their evening, and it was a perfect spot for us to relax, eat, and have a good time. I’d definitely recommend Lounge India to anyone looking for authentic Indian food in a friendly setting.”

“York House is a great venue used for a huge variety of community activities and private hire. They have various rooms for hire-great for parties, celebrations etc and a main hall all as a small bar area and outside space. I attend York House weekly as they host the Community Larder. It's always warm and clean and has good toilet, accessible toilet and baby change facilities.”

“Great theatre which is run by a friendly bunch of volunteers, there is plenty of parking nearby and a very well priced bar. I went to see Matt Coyne who was great, the theatre had plenty of space and comfortable seating. There are some historical photos around the lobby area which I thought were fabulous, It really is worth a visit. I will be back again soon. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

“Easy parking, comfy chairs. Clean and tidy presentation hall. Was there for my son's Prince's Trust presentation which was fantastic. Excellent venue.”

“Called in on the off chance. Friendly welcome from the young lady behind the bar. Lovely atmosphere and food was really nice. Young lady who brought out are food was also really friendly. Came and checked on how are meal was too which I also really like. Will definitely return when we are in the area again.”

“Visited Monks Park Working Men’s Club on a Sunday with a group of friends, and we had a really good time. We joined in with the bingo, entered the raffle, and had a few friendly games of pool — exactly the kind of relaxed afternoon we were after. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and there was a nice community atmosphere throughout. Drinks were reasonably priced, and it felt like the kind of place where everyone looks out for each other. We’d definitely visit again — and who knows, maybe even become members if we can! A great spot for a laid-back Sunday with friends, assuming one is a member.”
