“We decided to go into Northampton Jones' fufnishers to see what stock they had in order to try out a firm HYPNOS matress.Darren had originally spoken on the phone with my husband and was so helpful even phoning a HYPNOS advisor to find their firm matress equivalent for what we had seen at a chain store bed retailer. So we felt confident ordering from Derek and at a good price too. Delivery day was a pleasure.The 2 man team were pleasant, efficient and careful avoiding the hall chandelier and voluntarily removed their shoes.(as a woman, that made me smile.)They removed the old matress first, undid, carefully, the triple cover on the matress and then placed the matress carefully in situ on the bed upstairs. There was a lot of playful banter and laughter and we were impressed with the service : the antithesis of deliveries from furniture multichain retailers!!! we have experienced over the past few years. Bigger companies nowadays do not mean best and we have learnt to choose products from smaller retailers like Jones'.We would have no qualms about ordering from them again.The matress is perfect for my husband's bad back too-big shout to HYPNOS. “It was a wonderful stay with our children as a treat. My husband and I had a lovely massage. The kids adored the pool. We sat by the open fire for hours and hours just taking in the ambience. The family room we had was lovely. Very clean and spacious. We all slept really well. We left feeling refreshed and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Will definitely return. The only downside was we missed having some hash browns for breakfast!”

“One of my most favourite hotels in the whole of England! We make a pilgrimage to this hotel every year due to the most peaceful experience. One year we did the 3 days Christmas stay too! It’s just a beautiful 15th century oak panel building. The great dinning hall is out of this world, as is the service. If you want to feel like a king or queen head here! A fabulous weekend away, beautiful grounds to walk in. Can’t recommend enough.”

“We held my brother’s wedding celebration at The Woolpack Inn this afternoon and couldn’t have been happier with the experience. We wanted a relaxed, family-style buffet for a small wedding gathering, and it was absolutely perfect. The food was far better than we expected, plentiful, beautifully presented, and with a real touch of luxury. The service was outstanding; every member of staff was polite, attentive, and genuinely caring. Nothing was too much trouble, and every little detail was looked after. A small issue arose during the afternoon, and it was dealt with kindly and professionally, a real credit to the team. Special thanks to Dan, the manager, who was a pleasure to deal with throughout the booking process and so helpful on the day itself. We would highly recommend The Woolpack Inn for any small celebration. They helped make our family day truly special, and we’ll definitely be back soon to dine in the restaurant.”

“Had a lovely portion of chips and curry sauce, absolutely the best Chinese curry sauce in town. The service received was an absolute delight, the lady who served us was so sweet and friendly and even if the food hadn't been as good as it was that treatment is definitely worth returning for!! Can't wait for the remodeling to be done so we can come back for a full sit in meal.”
