After spending several hours on the Internet/YouTube trying to work out if I could fix the heating from my boiler (& my brother then doing the same), I had to bite the bullet & contact a boiler engineer, having no idea if it was an 'easy fix' or a big problem. I contacted the company who normally services my boiler & it was going to cost £90 call out before any work. I'd seen good reviews for Sterling so thought I'd get a quote from them too. They asked me to send pics of the prob & helped me sort it myself without any call out & no fees, plus advised me on another plumbing problem!!
