“Our first time visiting and we were not disappointed! Unfortunately a lot of the stalls were closed due to horrendous weather over the weekend, but it didn’t dampen the experience. The majority of the indoor stalls were still trading, and we had a browse and purchased a few lovely items. Will definitely be returning in the summer for the full experience!”
“Helpful and efficient and not ridiculously expensive”
“Always helpful and try hard to please can't ask for more than that, drivers are also the best and always careful”
“Just had an absolutely amazing weekend for my sister's and brother in laws wedding. The staff are amazing , the venue is beautiful, the food delicious. Can't fault them on anything. I would recommend this for a wedding venue for any future brides and grooms to be. Huge shout out to Becky one of our lovely bar attendees, and to the waiting staff.”
“We first used Jordan to sort out our remortgage, and he was absolutely brilliant throughout the whole process. Just a couple of weeks later we ended up selling our house, and Jordan once again stepped in to help us port our mortgage and arrange additional borrowing. He made everything so easy to understand and kept us updated every step of the way. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and he always explained our options clearly so we could make the best decisions. He really took the stress out of what could have been a complicated process. Would 100% recommend Jordan to anyone needing mortgage advice. Thank you so much for all your help!”
“Just took delivery of our new table and chairs today. The quality is excellent and the service was great, really professional and extremely helpful. The delivery driver in particular was lovely and made sure to check every chair over for any slight blemish before leaving them to make sure we got only top quality ones. He even took all of the packaging away for us! Would highly recommend and will definitely buy from again. We're absolutely thrilled and can't wait to use them!”
“Neil and Josie are the perfect hosts - welcoming, full of help, serving a wonderful breakfast. Neil helped us to organise bike and boat rental. The garden room was nice, wonderful to rest in the garden and enjoy the afternoon sun after a day full of activities.”
“We've been coming to Norfolk for 15 years and only have just been given a recommendation to come here. But I'm so glad we have. What beautiful gardens, built up over 50 years with obvious love and in-depth knowledge of horticulture from the owners. There is so much to see. Just when you think you've seen everything, you find another nook or cranny bursting with colour and fragrance. There are lots of seated areas, either to sit and rest or just take in the breathtaking surroundings. The entrance and exit are adjacent to the tea room, so the choice is there is to either fuel up before your walk round or relax afterwards. We shared a pot of tea with the apple crumble cake, which has to go down as one of the best cakes I've had at any tea room. It is very reasonably priced and a must for any keen gardeners visiting the area. You can even purchase plants from their shop before you leave.”
“I would recommend this to anyone and everyone boats are kept in immaculate condition very new, silent electric and run perfectly! The man behind the desk was very informative made us feel reassured and safe before we left! Very well run private company”
“Garden Lodge is a great stay for a group or large family. The rooms are clean and tastefully decorated. There is plenty of space and the facilities are great. Outside there is the hot tub and pool (from May onwards) which make the stay a little bit of luxury. There was a lovely welcome basket of goodies for our arrival. The hosts are super helpful, friendly and accommodating which helps make your stay smooth and relaxing and you feel looked after. The gardens are beautiful and help for those moments of tranquility. It's lovely to wander in and see the lovely range of plants and find the labyrinth. The hosts have outdoor games available for guests too. We would highly recommend it for a family or group stay. You can hear the A47 traffic from the garden but it is less audible at the poolside garden. It didn't spoil our enjoyment of this lovely space to stay. It is a convenient spot as there are local beaches and sightseeing spots within half an hour drive. Highly recommend a stay here.”
“amazing food, service and music live dj with great classic dance music, menu du jour was very reasonable with 3 courses for £36 for quality food, also received a complimentary dessert as it was for a birthday, will be back!”
“Get place saw kingfisher and otters ,nice quiet wall along the river .staff very friendly”
“Summary Great pub, friendly staff and owner, nice cosy décor including a log burning stove, impressive artwork on walls. Last orders are normally 20:30, with closure at 21:00 for noise reasons I understand. A nice place for drinks, I have not sampled the food though. Detail I use this pub to go for a drink with the family, and sometimes on my own to do a little work in the corner on my laptop whilst nursing a pint. The pub is clean, well maintained, and is well laid out. The beers are clearly well looked after, and have a good selection including some local ones. The pub has 3 rooms, the main room containing the hearth/stove and the bar, the second is dominated by a large table for larger groups and a smaller room with sofas, easy chairs. I haven't sampled the food, but I have seen it brought out and it looks very good. Mainly sharing platters from what I can see. There are some board games on a shelving unit for patrons to use, and the lighting is warm and cosy. Special mention to the nut selection, in particular the salt and vinegar peanuts!”
“Great place to escape from the hustle and busle of everyday life if peace and quiet is what you're after this is the place for you the log cabins are beautiful”
“We had our wedding here! Such a lovely charming place, and James and the event staff were very accommodating to us for our big day. I would highly recommend it as a wedding venue. The buffet was really good and well received (with a lot of extra food for guests to take home!).”
“Amazing venue for our pop up choir And for children walking the dog for get food”
“Lovely venue plenty of space good menu selection lovely staff. Don't forget to charge the table lights! We struggled to read the menu it was so dark. Food was well presented and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We will be booking again for my dad's 80 early next year.”
“I had a fantastic mother's day meal at the White Horse today with dear friends and my two teenage children. We were greeted by the new landlord with complimentary prosecco and a truffle style chocolate for the mum's that were dining. We all had a fantastic 2 course meal. There was a wide range to choose from and the pricing was incredibly reasonable with two courses for approx £25 3 of our diners chose the roasts, my son had venison and I had the sea bass and saffron prawns. My overall favourite was the starter, it was simple, delicious and cooked to perfection. I've attached a photo We then sampled their new cocktail menu, the teens had the mocktails and I had a sex on the beach and an espresso martini for dessert. It was such a nice treat to have a glass full of cocktail as opposed to a glass half filled with ice (which seems to be the norm nowadays) All the staff were really friendly and attentive, it really did feel like a special treat in a relaxed atmosphere! Thanks everyone! Looking forward to eating with you again soon”
“Fantastic facilities for the whole family. The park is extremely immaculate with plenty of space for football, rugby and frisbee. There is also an outdoor gym, slide and climbing frame equipment for kids of all ages.”
“Stump is a fairytale cottage in beautiful countryside. The house was well equipped and very comfortable, perfect for a relaxing break. There was a walking trail more or less round the whole estate which was very quiet in the autumn. The Reserve staff were all helpful and friendly. It is expensive but definitely worth a visit.”
“What a way to relax after a walk through the green land leading down to the river. A nice glass of juice from the Thorpe ferry Cafe and a relaxing one hour stare at the natural sight.”
“Its lovely, very peaceful. Its great for a stroll, lots of trees and plants, there's ponds and larger bodies of water, with ducks, swans etc. There's a boat ride available at extra cost. The cafe was nice, good value as was the shop, worth a visit.”
“Lovely little hotel, although more like a family run motel. Rooms are lovely, clean, comfortable, stylish. Restaurant serves home cooked meals, delicious and hearty. The bar closes at 9.30 and there is nowhere to sit and enjoy a game of cards. There is a heated outdoor pool that we didn’t explore. Great value for money and would stay again.”
“Just got back from an amazing family holiday. Caravan stayed in with a silver with a beautiful balcony, No 36 Swan. Nice and rustic, also had a bath which is rare for a caravan. Lovely and roomy, was a joy to stay in. Absolutely beautiful and comfortable place to put your head down. As for the park, I have been to all 4 in the Great Yarmouth area, although not kitted out as much as the others, this one has hit me and the family as the best and well worth going. Shop on site reasonably priced and other stores near by as well. The only thing that could be better on the park, would be the additon of a soft play but other than that....it was awesome, and no not being paid to say that. Surrounded by nature, peaceful, calm and easy to relax here. I strongly recommend this park. We will definitely be returning next year.”
“Absolutely gorgeous environment for elderly home care.... And right in the centre of Norwich itself.”
“A very peaceful place was really great for my body and mind. Even though it was a very cloudy day created very atmospheric photographs.”

“I would like to thank Chris for all his help over the past year. I have been hearing about his success in saving money for businesses for over three years, and finally decided to take the leap and instruct Chris and his team to oversee my accounts. The changeover was smooth and i was introduced to certain apps that made my accounts simple to do and save me lots of time in the process. The money he has saved me has been significant both with Monarch Signs and myself personally. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Chris for all his help over the last year and look forward to continuing to work with Chris and all at JHW for many years to come. John Cook, Monarch Signs”
“This is a classic example of everything a British B&B should be. The hosts were friendly and obliging the rooms were comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. I was using the place as the start and finish for the multi-day Rebellion Way circumnavigation of Norfolk cycle route. The hosts kindly allowed me to leave my car between my first night and final night stays. They also let me use their garden hose to spray down my bike at the end of my ride (it had been very wet and muddy) and then their compressor when I noticed a puncture on my car as I was about to depart - just enough air to reach a local garage. I drove a short way both evenings to excellent places to eat, recommended by my hosts. I hope to return sometime…”
