“I attended this morning on my mobility scooter from a recent injury. I was made so welcome, the staff even got me a basket when my hands were a bit full. The lady on the tills was so helpful, even packed for me and came all the way around to put my shopping on my mobility scooter, I didn’t even ask but this was a great help. I really want to pass this message of thanks on as I was having a really painful day.”

“Fabulous cafe situated next to the Visitor Centre in Shipley Park. A wide range of home made meals are available at reasonable prices. There are also sandwiches, panninis, toasties and a beautiful array of delicious home made cakes. Well worth a visit if you are in the Park”

“This is a nice convenient little sainburys with decent parking at the front. Although there are plenty of spaces in the carpark, it would be difficult if towing a trailer or if you drive a large vehicle. Also, be aware there is a 30-minute parking restriction in the carpark. The shop itself is nice, it has plenty of fresh fruit and veg and a good fresh baked section. There are also plenty of self checkouts and the counters where we'll staffed during my visit, so there no cues.”

“Larger Co-op. Stocks most of the deals and seems to always be well stocked. Easy to move around the store. Has self service checkouts and staffed checkouts. Always seems busy. Staff very friendly and helpful. Large car park at rear of store, free for 2 hours with a ticket from the machine.”

“Good selection of products for a small-ish local supermarket. Excellent service (friendly, polite, helpful staff). A tad pricey to use for my weekly grocery shopping but great for a mid week top-up or for buying things I've run out of.”

“A wide variety of goods are sold here. Ranging from fresh, chilled, a small selection of frozen foods. Cleaning products, toiletries and a large selection of alcoholic produce is also available. A cash machine is on the outside wall.”

“Staying in Nottingham overnight so headed into the city centre, unfortunately on the walk in my cross body RI bag strap broke. It was a Christmas gift so didn’t know if I was eligible for an exchange as my partner only had proof of the bank transaction. Found River Island & the staff, Phoebe, Taylia & Yulia couldn’t have been more helpful, I was shown a similar bag which I decided to exchange. The staff were lovely and made the whole experience straightforward, Thank you”

“Good little local shop when you need a couple of items you may have run out of or missed in your main shop. Great selection of wines. Staff are usually very friendly and helpful despite all the good COVID-19 reasons to be very stressed and the store has good two metre floor markings which are usually obeyed by the other shoppers. Speaking of pandemic management they originally had good control of numbers entering when it all began with a 1 in 1 out system which has subsequently been relaxed which means it's best to avoid busy times now as it can get crowded.”

“Staff in store are helpful and while you can no longer explore their five basements of back stock, ask if you're looking for something specific and they will do all they can to help you find it. Keep checking back as stock changes every few days. Keep in mind if you have it delivered staff are volunteers and it might show up with an extra scratch and unassembled, if that bothers you it's best to arrange your own collection.”

“I've just been in for my click and collect order and there was a glitch in the system so my order wasn't ready. The staff were brilliant. They quickly got my order together and provided me with a coffee while I waited. Once my oder was ready they took it to my car and gave me a bunch of lovely spring flowers.
