“Always nervous about leaving my house bunny, Lewis, with strangers, I asked many questions prior to booking, all of which were answered promptly with lots of patience and understanding. I was delighted that Dovecote were happy to meet my specific requirements for Lewis's care, and felt reassured about their close relationship with the local vet - just in case! When we dropped Lewis off Bryony was friendly and enthusiastic, and put me at ease. I was thrilled to recieve a text that evening confirming that Lewis had settled in well, and further texts and a photo on email during the week that made it much easier for me to enjoy my holiday guilt free. On collection Lewis was freshly cleaned out, and looking very happy and well cared for, it really was a home from home. He also settled in very quickly when we got him back home, where normally he would be a bit mardy and make us suffer for a few days for leaving him. I can only assume that he enjoyed his holiday too, and I will definately be taking him back to Dovecote for our next break. All in all, a huge relief, and highly recommended.”

“I'm so pleased we found Becky. She has saved me a lot of worry. I didn't want to put my cats in a cattery as they are rescue cats. Becky came round before we went away to see our routine. I was messaged on the first day to inform me all was good and well. When we came back the girls were relaxed and happy (almost disappointed we were back, I think) Becky is a lovely lady, who is very intune with animals and she even had the kindness to water my plants. Thank you Becky. Will definitely be using your services again.”

“Sophie (and now Alan) have taken care of our babies since they first came to us last year. We have one older dog and two rescues. The two rescues are so picky about who they let near them after all they’ve been through but they are completely obsessed with Sophie! She’s incredible with all our pets, looked after them so well on an overnight stay and is always so accommodating to my ever changing schedule. Having Sophie has eased our minds so much about being away from our dogs as we know they’ll always be in safe hands.”
