“Found this hidden gem on a recent trip to the Yorkshire Wildlife Park.. so good we visited twice! We stopped in for lunch and were spoilt for choice between the fabulous fresh sandwiches and the delicious homemade salads. Kids also delighted to find pizza as an option for their lunch box! The cafe is spotlessly clean and the AC was very welcome on a hot day. Staff were warm and welcoming, definitely service with a smile. The excellent customer service didn’t stop there. I arrived home to Scotland and realised my glasses had fallen out my bag while in the cafe! After exchanging a few messages on social media, my glasses were posted home to me! Now that really is going the extra mile. Highly recommend popping in for a visit, once of the best independent coffee shops/cafes we have visited in a long time.”

“Arrived too early to attend local church fete so called in for cup of tea. Had a great brew served by a friendly assistant. Yorkshire tea in a Yorkshire mug served by a Yorkshire lady. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience and will come to this cafe again.”

We were a party of 8, they were happy to move tables around to sit us on one table and, most importantly, went to extraordinary lengths to accommodate our dietary requirements (two non-dairy and one veggie). “This was my first visit here and I would definitely return. Service was impeccable, the team seemed really organised and drinks and even hot food were served very quickly considering how busy it was at the time. You can tell each person has a different role to play and they get the job done quickly and efficiently. It was nice to see different drinks on the menu instead of the normal run of the mill, especially seasonal specials. The atmosphere is fantastic and while it’s quite small, it doesn’t feel cramped. Would absolutely recommend to anyone wanting to try somewhere new for a coffee and cake!!”

“Coffee and cake at 10 am. Beautiful cafe, nice menu but we were there for cake. Lattes were really delicious, best I've had for a long time. My friends blueberry scone looked fabulous. I am coeliac, the only option was chocolate brownie. It was fine but I would have liked more choice.”

“The vibes were so cosy! The staff was really friendly and super helpful. I bought a salted caramel brownie and a cinnamon bun. The brownie was delicious. The salted caramel really complimented the rich chocolate. And it was the perfect consistency. The cinnamon bun was immense. So fluffy and all the flavours were just right! I highly recommend!”
