“Hosted scott mtb marathon series event round 4. Weekend camping and mountain bike riding.. This round is held In honour of a former pupil of theirs Charlie Craig who passed away aged 15. The whole community was incredibly supportive of the whole weekend, welcoming thousands of mountain bikes and campers from all over, I heard american/Canadian /morrocan and Australian accents as well as all the UK variations, into the place they call home. The local Marshalls, shopkeepers,pub land lords and even the land owners really do make you feel welcome, I had an old chap in a red tractor shouting out to me to carry on,it's OK it's all downhill soon when I was struggling up on the way to the quarry. Little things make you smile and keep you going up! To the school caretakers who kept the showers open, the school governers who allowed this to take place so close to start of term and the people of Hope, thank you. I've always loved the peak district, maybe because its so different to where I'm from in Birmingham, I'm not sure but we usually spend a few weeks a year riding around, we use matlock bath as a base but I think it's going to have to be around Hope in the coming years.”

“Sofia joined Stagecoach when she was 8 years old and found her tribe! The staff and the students are so supportive and friendly and have welcomed and encouraged Sofia to reach for the stars. The weekly lessons and holiday clubs give her a real insight into the world of musical theatre and acting, as well as making some wonderful friends. Sofia has been given opportunities to perform with the touring production of Joseph, audition for West End performances, perform in a whole school show at the Octagon and be involved in local events like the Christmas Lights switch on in Sheffield; she has also learnt so much from the professionals who deliver the technical workshops. Sofia absolutely loves being at Stagecoach and her confidence has soared since being there. Debbie and the team bring the absolute best in her and I'm so proud of what she is able to accomplish with their support. Thank you to Debbie, Sam, Rowan and James and all the other wonderful people who work alongside you - you are all amazing and I can’t wait to watch this year’s performances and hear all about the amazing time she spends with you all on a Saturday afternoon. If your child is interested in dance, drama or singing and you want a school that nurtures, supports and encourages your child and provides them with wonderful opportunities, I couldn’t recommend Stagecoach Sheffield any higher!”
