“The new e-triage system is so helpful if you are a busy person and can't spend ages waiting in phone queues. I submitted my problem and the GP called me back really quickly to discuss and write a prescription. I had a problem with the prescription at the chemist and when I went into the surgery the receptionist was polite and really helpful and the prescription was resent within minutes. I have found the GPs compassionate about my mental health and other problems. A bit hard to get an appointment soon for routine things, but I'll be using the Klinic system in future if I feel I need to book sooner than the available online appointments as it seems like it works well.”

“Shout out to the staff at the Sheffield Walk-in-Centre …. went to meet a family member who was experiencing a difficult asthma attack on the back of a chest infection. On arrival, the place was extremely busy, no vacant seats, with people queuing at the desk! staff were clearly working hard, in difficult conditions to get people assessed and treated ASAP! Having mentioned to staff that the asthma was worsening, the response was excellent. They were seen quickly and provided excellent emergency care before being referred to the NGH…. Although someone might say they were just doing the job that they’re paid for…. these were difficult circumstances in a very busy and stressful environment. So thanks to the staff on duty this afternoon for a providing an excellent and professional service.”

“Just had a partial knee replacement done by Alex Anderson. Wow the guy is amazing. 10 days after my operation I was able to walk unaided. The movement I have is brilliant. I can nearly bend my leg fully . I would highly recommend it to anyone going through it.”

“I have always had a pleasant experience with both avenue house on Saltergate and hasland medical centre. When myself or my son need an appointment we have always been able to get one within 48 hours maximum and the communication is great. The GPs are always lovely and helpful, special mention to Dr Ratcliffe, she is fantastic.”

“Excellent service. I saw a gp about 2 separate issues and she was attentive, patient and very helpful. Will definitely book my follow up appointment with the same gp even if I have to wait. The receptionist was also very accommodating.”

“My child has had 2 surgeries here under the care of Mr Giles and ward 2. The care he receives is outstanding. I have been given a bed beside him and this time we were lucky enough to have a peaceful room instead of the noisy ward. The nurses and staff has made our visits much better than expected, nothing was too much trouble. Ward 2 has a family area where we can always get hot drinks cereal and I even saw a freezer where parents can get a meal and pay whatever they can afford. There is nothing more we could have asked for so a huge thankyou for helping my son through this difficult time. Bless all NHS staff who make a difference every single day & night.”

“I have been with Clifton surgery for years and have never had any problems at all . The reception staff are lovely ,the GP,s and nurses great . I work at a different surgery in Rotherham not connected to Clifton and totally understand some of the frustration and anger the patients encounter , the waiting times for calls, the lack of appointments to offer and having to use the online services. Unfortunately this is the NHS. and surgeries have little choice when things change. We can't go back to the old ways queuing up in the morning , demanding an appointment with a particular gp.for a sniffle. It upsets alot of patients but im sure Clifton surgery is doing its best to help everyone at a difficult time. It is not the receptionists fault if there are no appointments left or they ask you what the appointment is for, it is to make sure you see the right clinician. Due to some people wanting an appointment a minor cough, cold, sore throat that they only had a couple of days, or hay fever or back pain that a pharmacist or physio can deal with is one of the reasons there are no appointments left for you or your family the genuine unwell patient. In addition to this the people who book appointments and do not attend anyway! again they are wasting an appointment that could be yours. This is across the whole of the Nhs GPS and hospitals . Clifton medial centre are trying their best to help everyone.please have a little more understanding, they are doing the best to help you ! Keep up the good work Clifton .”

“Excellent Service. I needed to speak to a Medical Professional so i rang the surgery and was immediately offered an appointment with a Specialist Nurse Practioner within the hour. I was advised on the best way forward to resolve my medical problem. Due to the advice i was given by the Specialist Nurse Practioner the issue has now been resolved. First class treatment from start to finish, thankyou. The Specialist Nurse Practioner also rang yesterday with my test results and to check if i was now well. Thankyou.”

“Staff here have always gone above & beyond. Never had a problem. Receptionists are always helpful. Don't know why people leave negative reviews. We need to understand surgeries these days have 3x more patients than they did before so sometimes will struggle to get people in on the same day. Plus you will always get them patients that will book appointments for the most unnecessary thing which inevitably takes up slots someone else could have with a more serious problem.”

“Can't understand what all the fuss is about...... every time I have wanted to see a doctor I have rung at half 8 and been given an appointment. All the doctors have seemed very sensible, listened well and sorted me out. Much better service than my GP back home. Not looking forward to the day I stop being a student and have to go back to having a normal GP where you have to wait weeks for an appointment and they have very few crisis appointment slots.”

“Absolutely wonderful experience. A long wait to get here due to no fault of the staff and the first thing they did was apologise and tell me how they're trying to fix it! I didn't even ask! Everyone I spoke to was helpful, calm and just genuinely wonderfully understanding. I cannot understate how great my experience today was. I'm really thankful for all the hard work they are doing and I very much feel looked after and listened to. They have a very high level of knowledge in and around the subject of mental health and ADHD and they care. It really shows. “I have been registered with this practice for over twenty years (Broomlane Medical/Kimberworth Park Medical Center). I can always count on them have always been treated with Courtesy, Respect and promptly that is by all the doctors and receptionalist. They have always met my expectations. DR Kacker is my registered G.P every time I have had a chance to see him always goes up and beyond, in October 2024 I went in for Flue vaccination was so determined and admant not to have Covid 19 injection. He talked me into having both and he was the one injecting the patients . No regrets this winter (touch wood) I have been the fittest. And few weeks ago the hospital advised me to see a GP of my own choice, I said would see any as I knew all the GPs in my surgery would go up and beyond. I was booked in with Dr Kacker again and THANK you doctor for treating me with respect and all the reassurances you gave me. Its difficult to get through (phone) mostly for appointments but it is with most of all the GP around the country. I thank all the doctors at Kimberworth Park Medical Center/ Broom lane Medical Center for the Brilliant work your doing.”
