“To say it’s a small pub, they offer a wide range of beers & ciders and at a really good price! Probably the best priced in the area(Whittington moor) I can imagine this place having a really good atmosphere on a match day but unfortunately not the same at 1pm on a Friday. But overall it’s a lovely pub with comfortable seating and a decent beer garden with plenty of seats available outside too. You can vape inside too, big plus for some…”

“My partner and I are regular customers here and what a Lovely sandwich bar it is. Plenty of choice from a bacon butty to homemade hot dishes (quiches, lesangne) to salads, that are very tasty. Staff are very friendly and helpful, and the place always looks spotlessly clean. Highly recommend that you call in and support this hidden gem. Keep up the good work guys and gals.”

“My favourite restaurant, we’ve been coming for years. The staff are brilliant and the atmosphere is so welcoming and uplifting. Wherever we travel we get sushi and none has compared to how fresh and tasty the sushi is here. A lot of all you can eat restaurants skimp out on the quality of food but not here!”

They also do a wide range of cakes, pasties and drinks & even Sunday dinners for collection or delivery. Lovely staff and always on hand to take orders for collection or delivery over the phone.”

“I recently visited Cafe Des Amis in Sheffield and had a really good experience. The sausages were very juicy and full of flavour, the poached eggs were cooked nicely, and the mushrooms were delicious. The toast with butter was a simple but perfect combo. I also tried the Arabic coffee – it was very strong and authentic, just as it should be. The café itself was very clean and well-kept, including the toilets, which is always a good sign. Overall, a great spot for breakfast and definitely worth visiting again!”

“Great place to visit while visiting Chesterfield. We were offered a spot near the bar / food prep area...it was great to see all the food cooked in their wood fired oven. Excellent range of European beers and wines. Great location next to the crooked spire.”

“Fed up with having sub standard Chinese takeaway, I decided to give this establishment a go. Upon reading the reviews about here, I ordered, picked up and can confirm the food is absolutely gorgeous. Cash only though but there is a cash machine around the corner so eating from here in future will be a no brainer. Look forward to it and a definite 5 star.”

“Went in for a family meal. Not sure what to expect with previous reviews but couldn’t fault the food. Turkey Sunday roast was huge and had a proper homemade Yorkshire pudding. All 5 of us had different things but the stand out was the steak and ale pie and homemade chips on the hunters chips. Beware huge portion sizes. If that’s ok then head out for food. Compliments to the chef”

“Dinned here last night and was very impressed. We choose the “ all you can eat buffet” and the food was absolutely wonderful. Unlike other buffets in other restaurants, the Dynasty cook you order fresh each time , this means you can order a few dishes, enjoy them and order more. I ordered two starters as recommended, by the waitress, then ordered three main dishes. All the food was piping hot , well presented and very fresh and tasty. Some reviews I feel have been posted unfairly, I think people have unnecessarily ordered to much and wasted food . ( surcharges for wasted food ) if you order as you go you can just keep ordering and keep getting great food for as long as you want. The staff pop over to your table when your ordered food has been eaten and offer more. So plenty of food and very good service and value. Really enjoyed the evening. I will be going again for sure. The staff were superb. I highly recommend the beef with mushrooms in oyster sauce. A truly outstanding evening all round .”
