Steak and Ale Pies had a firm crust, good filling and served with chips and gravy. The Shepherds Pie, made from pieces of lamb shoulder, was also very good. Both served with slice cabbage, peas and carrots which was a good accompaniment. A nice pint of Chatsworth Gold. A good option if you are walking in the area or just passing by.”
