“Blown Away by The Garrison, Wickersley! ​I honestly can't say enough good things about our recent meal at The Garrison, Wickersley. The whole experience was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. ​The restaurant itself is incredibly cosy, and the entire team was just amazing and attentive. A huge shoutout to Joss, who was absolutely brilliant! Due to a last-minute business trip to Sheffield, we needed a table, and he went above and beyond to fit us in and was so helpful in explaining the menu. ​The food quality truly blew me away. Everything tasted superb, proving the dedication to using fantastic quality local produce. The presentation of every dish was top-notch—real eye candy! ​If you're looking for an unforgettable meal with incredible service and a warm atmosphere, you have to try The Garrison. ​We were absolutely delighted and we'll definitely be back soon! “We booked Ace Party for our wedding at Peak Edge in August 2024. They were great to deal with and provided crazy golf, carnival games, high striker and a Photo Booth. These activities were fundamental to making the day such a success as our guests were never bored and massively added to the sense of fun. Very hard to imagine a better party equipment rental service is out there as having used them we would now not think of using anybody else.”

“Review based on one visit. Honestly, I was blow away. The chap behind the bar and the lady organising front of house and kitchen were great. We had never been before. I called ahead, it's Sunday, asked if we could get a table booked and they said it was fine. We arrived soon after and the table was being set up, amazing customer service. They had an amazing quality highchair for our 1 year old too which made the meal time run smoothly. The kids wouldn't have eaten anything off the kids menu (we dont eat meat and they dont particularly eat fishfingers, fussy I know), so we split and adult Cod meal between them and they were fine with that. Food wise, top quality and homecooked, fresh. The cod was absolutly delicious, even better than the sea side. Was some great nostalgia from my childhood to visit a small local pub with good grub. Prices were fair. Good range of soft and alcoholic drinks. The only negative point, would be the lack of baby changing area. Or at least we couldn't find one. But to be honest, we just nipped out and changed our son in the car. No harm. Was great Sunday afteroon. Highly recommended.”

“Ordered takeaway from The Cake Ole tonight and it was wonderful. Its so nice to have a takeaway with more than just burgers and kebabs, pizza or curry. We had thw grill boxes and a pudding each for a very reasonable price. Think we've found a new favourite place. Delivery was fast and the food tasty. Definitely recommend.”

“Best Chinese Restaurant/ Takeaway in Rotherham. The whole family always used to eat here but we stopped when the place flooded years ago. We recently started ordering again earlier this year, and now it’s the only Chinese we will order from. The food is great, the service is quick, when you call to collect, your food is ready in 20 mins max and best of all it’s a very reasonable and affordable price and tastes great. Lots of other local Chinese takeaways are so expensive now, but Dynasty is so much more affordable and they do not compromise on the quality / taste of their food. We love the food here because it’s ’clean’ and tastes ‘fresh’, what I mean by that is that the food just has a ‘clean’ taste and feeling, it’s not greasy and you can tell the food and vegetables are fresh and that your order has been freshly prepared. We will be looking to make a restaurant reservation here soon to try dining in again! 10/10”

“Having a relative in the hospital up the road, finding this pub was a godsend. Excellent menu choice and unbelievable value for money. I can highly recommend the fish and chips, Gammon and the Surf and turf. Portions are spot on and the price is great. What makes the pub though are the staff. They make you feel like a regular as you order your first drink. Even though I live over 20 miles away I will make a point of continuing to visit this pub and work my way through the menu!”

“Stayed here couple of times in motorhome. Staff made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The staff from management and his team was very friendly and helpful. Had a fantastic meal last week, it was out of this world. Facilities was lovely and clean and pub had a lovely atmosphere. Will be staying again in the near future. “Absolutely love this little chippy nothing is ever too much trouble for the staff who own/work there every order we have had has been hot fresh and delicious wouldn't go nowhere else now even davians is nothing compared to this one . . . “Visited the drawbridge tonight for the first time in a few years, We were able to bring the dog too. Where do I start? The welcome was lovely like we are regulars. The food was great, we had a mixture of fish & chips, Tikka curry & salt & chilli dirty fries all cooked perfectly. Would highly recommended and will be coming back. Thank you Brad & Paul, just taken over in last couple of days (couldn’t add photos all the food was gone)”
