The staff are all very welcoming and attentive and always trying their best to please the customer. It’s a wonderful, family run pub and we will continue to support them for a long time yet. “Had a great evening. There was a band called accelerater (Ska music) they were very good. The bar staff were very polite and friendly. I will make an effort to go more often as it is the most local to me, and drinks are reasonably priced.”

“Went here for a work lunch and was really impressed. Despite being a large group with a pre-order, the service was excellent, attentive, efficient, and well-organised. Our food came out quickly, and the staff checked in on us throughout. The food itself was delicious and, considering the price, offered great value for money. Would definitely recommend for group bookings or casual work outings.”

“Great food and service with a 2 for £30 deal. There was a good choice with steak, burgers and other options. We were told clearly what was in the deal and served quickly. The drinks came quickly and the food took around 20 minutes to arrive. We had starters and main courses and all was cooked perfectly. The portions were filling and I'd never tasted such tender rump steak. Not at all fatty. The surf and turf burger with the King Prawns and proper grilled beef burger was also full of flavour. I wish there was a Beefeater like this nearer to where we usually live.”
