Established for many years now in the grade 1 listed building previous known as the Castle Tavern, the enthusiastic new owners embarked upon naming their exciting new restaurant settling on an anagram of 'Is my Ballship?' an ancient Bangladeshi greeting meaning may the fruit of your loins be productive in many lands, a metaphor for spreading the culinary delights of the motherland far and wide with as much vigour as can be mustered they came up with the beautifully elegant "Simply Bilash." The beating heart of this dynamic and mind-blowing Dhaba is the skill of the highly decorated chef. Dishes such as Fangash, a concatenation of Fanny and Gash (a famous Hyderabadi chef) a fish dish of such exotic pungency that the recipients eyes roll back with overwhelming delight. The drinks were amazing, never seen nothing like it we had such a good time ( who ever comes up with these ideas is amazing) The atmosphere was unreal, such a fun and lively place with great music(including Xmas music) You could really tell they care about giving people a great experience, when wr came for our booking it was really busy but the staff handled it perfectly. Honestly, this is the best place we’ve been for a while in stone, and it completely exceeded our expectations. We’re already planning our next visit couldn’t recommend it enough! “I needed a tumble dryer so I went to Curry's, they've had a huge selection of them on display but absolutely nothing in stock. So I went to this "good old retailer" (as the other reviewer called it), simply bought one and walked out, no hassle even though it was after closing time. Very good and nice service.”

“Next at Queens in Stafford is a shop for everyone. I am able bodied but have noticed the shop caters for people with all disabilities. There is a lift, an esculater, and a staircase. It's easy to navigate around the store and have personally found the staff very helpful and always approachable. There is plenty of parking and does have the added facility of a Costa where again the staff are very helpful so a win win all round.”

“I was here yesterday for lunch with my girlfriend and we had a wonderful time. Of course, the cafe is in a great location, and we enjoyed sitting outside (despite the cold!) taking in the view and watching all the birds who came and went from the decking area. What we loved here was the attention to detail in the food: We ordered a jacket potato with cheese and a leek and potato soup - the cheese was already melted into the potato, and the bread that came with the soup was toasted! Little things like this turned it from a good meal into a great one! Whenever we're back in Stafford, this will definitely be somewhere we try to visit again.”

The room its self looked old and tired, but it was very clean. They have a restaurant in the hotel, but it’s not open yet, so we booked breakfast in the pub opposite, which was very nice.”
