Disappointingly, the ring which I brought in on behalf of my friend proved to be synthetic and worth very little, but the kindness and courtesy I was shown helped me feel less uncomfortable than might have been the case. The original owner was under the impression that it was a genuine piece and left it to her friend thinking it was a generous bequest in appreciation of all the kindness she received.Ive advised her of the outcome of my visit but am very grateful to the young gentleman concerned.
