“I had their Spicy chicken sandwich, and my Mrs had Portobello mushroom & Brie cheese sandwiche, along with coffee. All of them were delicious, especially the Speciality coffee that I had, it has Irish cream, Kaluha coffee liquor. Previously I had cakes as takeaway from them, they were also delicious. Seating and ambience is very comforting and cozy. My wife loves this cafe . Owner and staff are very warm and polite. I'll highly recommend anyone who visits Sutton.”

“First time here today, popped in for a quick bite. First impression was very welcoming, warm environment. Great value for money regarding the food and what we had to eat was delicious. Other plates from the kitchen looked amazing as well. Very friendly and helpful but not over attentive staff. Outside seating. “Dropped in with my Dad on Sunday for a cuppa but ended up having a breakfast each as well. The food was excellent all made from local tasty ingredients. The service was lovely and super friendly. “Absolutely love the vibe this place gives. It's spacious,colour scheme is nice and the plants make the place look homely. Music was relaxing and the young man (Jake) who served me was ever so friendly. They have some outside seating too. The frappe was very nice and I'm very fussy about those. And the bread and the presentation was very good too. Plus they have half price offer for kids at the moment. I need to visit again!!!!!!! Heart ♥️”

“Had a fantastic afternoon tea yesterday. We had a disabled lady with us, so requested a table downstairs which we were given. In our group of 8 we have 2 vegetarians and 2 people that are gluten free and all were catered for. Our drinks orders were taken promptly and they kept coming. The food came out very quickly and everything was beautiful. We were all grateful for boxes to take our leftovers home. I have eaten here many times and the food never disappoints! Thanks again ladies!”

“Called here yesterday and we were so impressed. When we looked inside the tables were either occupied or reserved but we were offered a table in the courtyard at the back. Was a very hot day but we were under big parasols so it was lovely. Our order was taken promptly even though they were very busy and the food was delicious. We had the small fish and chips which was just a nice size for us. The staff were all absolutely lovely and we will definitely be back. Read on another review that you can sit outside when it's cold and they bring blankets, definitely doing that!”

“Went to the cafe twice— it was that good. The pancakes were to die for for breakfast. Burger I had was very tasty, and not at all dry. Coffee and tea served were both astounding, and the full breakfast I had on my second visit was very delicious. To top it all, the service was top-notch. They were accommodating and were engaging with us kindly. A must visit if you’re around Royal Mile!”

We only ordered drinks and some chips to eat outside (17.08.24 about 15:25) and we were served quickly. Chips were brought out to the table for us outside so we didn’t need to wait for them. Will definitely go back - the burgers that the chef was cooking looked DELICIOUS and so did the chicken wings that we saw them taking out!”
