“Amazing home cooked food, such great balanced flavours and truly delicious, healthy menu. Tasted like real Eastern European cooked in the home, which is actually what the lovely host told us: all cooked by his wife. Unbelievable desert, nothing was too heavy, but rich and layered tastes. Wine didn't disappoint either. Looking forward to trying again!”

“Has to be one of my favourite restaurants, certainly in Leicestershire! What you get here is first class service from the moment you walk in with a happy greeting! A relaxing drink at the bar and when you get to the table the quality of tapas is outstanding - don’t confuse what they do here with cheap chain restaurant tapas - this is VERY high quality & different- Lamb Biriyani Tacos, Roasted carrot tarte tatin! I know my wines & here they serve good wines, not wines you can get everywhere! Our last meal here was a birthday celebration and we were really looked after- please pay a visit and see my photos”

“Seems extreme to label all 5⭐️s but I had no plans to come here. I was meant to go across the street to another restaurant where I had a booking, peeked in here on the way over & ditched all plans. The food was phenomenal. I had a lamb shank which melted off the bone. We had a seafood starter and the haloumin which was grand. Nicholas was a gem. One of my fave nights in my new neighbourhood. 100% RECOMMEND!”

From the moment we walked in, we felt so welcome ,the staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect. The food was absolutely delicious ,beautifully cooked, full of flavour, and with plenty of choice for everyone in the family. The atmosphere was relaxed yet special, making it the perfect place to enjoy time together. It’s rare to find somewhere that feels both stylish and family-friendly, but Escape manages it perfectly. “I had breakfast here on a busy Saturday. I asked to sit in for a couple of hours whilst my wife, daughter and her friends shopped as a birthday treat. The manager (Nadine) found me a quiet table in the corner with a nearby power supply as I mentioned I wanted to do some work. They genuinely couldn’t have been any more helpful and I didn’t feel any pressure to vacate the table at any point. All the staff (including Abbie & Rahmi) who looked after me were great, can’t thank them enough.”

“This place is so, so good. The owner’s were so kind and talked to us about our trip. I had the garlic pizza bread and then split the homemade chocolate cake and tiramisu with two other people. Everything was hot and so tasty. Highly recommend, especially if you’re staying at the Houstoun Manor House nearby as it is just a few steps away!”

The place is lovely inside and out, we were there for dinner tonight (30th December), only thing wrong with the evening was that the table behind us seemed to have a couple seated who were “influencers” (idiots) who seems to be streaming whilst complaining constantly about everything and each other……. It helped massively that the bill was being picked up by my boss which was the reward for winning a sales competition at work. Everything about our evening was perfect, the quality of the service, the quality of the food and the atmosphere, it was quite simply superb. Probably the best dining night out we've ever had! It's very busy so would book in advance, the service is ok, could be slightly more efficient but it's a busy place. For myself being half deaf, I did find this a noisy environment, also due to it being super busy. So just a couple of things to bare in mind. But would highly recommend! Will return in the future”

They don’t have an alcohol license but you can take your own drink in without a corkage charge so it works out to be so much cheaper than an ordinary restaurant. The seafood at this place is honestly second to none. Love it love it”
