“Went in on Halloween with a friend. Had 5 cocktails, 2 starters, 2 mains and a pudding between us, and the price was amazing for the quality of the food and the amount of items we ordered. The food was incredible and moorish. Portion sizes were perfect-not too much, so that you felt sluggish after eating. The staff were very attentive, knowledgable, friendly and informative. There wasn’t many tables booked that night, and it’s usually a lot busier, but I noticed every table was being attended to. They were very accommodating to my nut allergy. Seating and dining area was spotless, comfortable and atmospheric.”

“I have no idea why we have never been here before service was excellent all of the staff are lovely, prices are amazing and their chips are proper homemade chips none of that oven muck you find in all the other pubs. “I feel so lucky that Cafe Casita is a 5 minute walk from where I live, this is the second time I have visited this place with my wife since moving to the area and it is amazing. I believe it is a family owned Italian restaurant with a rustic Italian theme inside. You need to book as it is always busy, and rightly so, the food is absolutely amazing, tasty and is presented beautifully. Listen to the mature lady if she suggests a dish as my wife had the scallops that she suggested and I was left wishing I had the same. The outside of the restaurant could do with a slight uplift but when inside that really doesn't matter.”

“Always a wonderful evening at the Oregano Project. The most relaxing atmosphere is perfect to wind down after a busy day. The antipasti is a myriad colours, flavours and textures. Best olives are found here too. Nduja topped goats cheese pizza on their luscious signature base is hard to beat. But the tasty chicken and sausage Special comes an equal first!”

Prices are often better too, and the service has been spot-on every time I’ve used it. If you’re in Cannock and haven’t given it a go yet, it’s well worth checking out.”

“Very nice and romantic Italian restaurant. With a pleasant atmosphere and good Italian music. Everything was clean and tidy, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The food was good, I ordered affogato for dessert, it was OK but I am already of the opinion that it is difficult to find a great affogato in England.”

“I dont normally write reviews, but based on the some of the negative comments on here , I felt a need too. Firstly, if we dont support venues like this . They will be gone! The landlady was very friendly, and its not much of an ask to throw money in a tray for the band (who had travelled all the way from cardiff). Finally, James Oliver Band are really amazing. Blessed to see such a great artist in a unique setting. We will definitely be back for more.”

“Great pub with delicious food. I was there for the second time and I was still nicely surprised with the taste of meals. Portions are big, the food is freshly made and is nicely decorated on the plates . The staff are friendly and the pub is clean and tidy. Summerhouse has plenty of car park spaces and also the garden with the tables and sits outside. Behind the garden area there are meadows with wild flowers and free roaming horses. I highly recommend this pub. It's a shame for me that this pub is not close to Coventry where I live.”

Absolutely beautiful, will definitely be coming again. My server was delightful, as was the atmosphere. Its very rare indeed to hear a chef and a server get along so well in the background, its nice to hear such love for a change. Will definitely be coming again.”
