“My son Reggie has recently started attending Early Steps Nursery Dudley and we cannot be happier! The staff are really friendly and he has progressed so much in the last 3 months in considering he was in lockdown the whole time before he is now interacting with staff and other children lovely. Would highly recommend!”
“Our Nursery had a wonderful visit today, would highly recommend to other schools and nurseries. Clean, safe and accessible for all children, they explored all of the role play on offer and throughly enjoyed their trip to Adventure Street. Lana was fabulous and was on hand to support throughout. Thank you again for a lovely visit, we’ll be back!”
“My wife and I made our first visit to 'The Stump' ( Mount Pleasant) since the 1980's . After a recommendation on Facebook we decided to call in for a late night drink after playing Bridge. The Mount Pleasant is open until 23:00 and serves until 22:45 . We had checked on the Real Ale Finder site that the Mount Pleasant regularly updates and found that they had an interesting Abbeydale Hazelnut and Coffee Stout on. They regularly change 9 of the real ales that they have on offer and a chalk board lists the beers and prices . The Mount Pleasant has a long ( thin) layout with a car park ( also long and thin on its right hand side ) . We accessed the pub via a rear door from the car park . A covered smoking deck is at the back then the single door access ( with a single step) leafs into a corridor that runs the length of the pub with single doorways to enter the front and rear bar rooms . The pub was warm and friendly with a group of people at another table enjoying snack type food . We had a half of the Abbeydale Stout and were pleasantly surprised by the price of only £3.90 for a pint of this 5.2% strength Stout. We enjoyed it so much we squeezed in another half before closing time . The service was friendly and when I mentioned that the last time we visited the Mount Pleasant was in the 1980's the landlady jokingly replied that she was not even born then. It is not surprising that The Mount Pleasant is in the 2025 Camra Good Beer Guide . We both enjoyed our visit and would highly recommend The Stump as a 'must visit ' if you are in the area .”
“AMAZING PLACE Such a hidden gem My kids are 1, 4, and 8 my nephew and niece are 10 and 3 - they were all entertained for the whole session They didn't even want to sit down to stop and have their lunch, they were having too much fun. There's play stuff everywhere inside outside and a sensory room soft play upstairs it endless the amount of stuff to do. Recommended day out can't rate it enough”
“Seats more comfy than showcase cinemas. Bar staff are polite and other staff are too”
“Brilliant little pub with such a warm welcome. The staff are very friendly, quick and attentive. The beer is always good, with a good choice of Holdens and they have a cool little Gin section too. Regular live music always makes for a lovely atmosphere.”

“We visited the Seven Stars in Sedgley for the First time today for a meal out. Being Disabled I was pleasantly surprised to Find the the Disabled parking bays next to the ramp leading into the main entrance. Inside it was well laid out into several eating areas so we easily found a table then ordered our meal at the bar. We were served by a very nice young lady Laurie-Jo, We both ordered the fish and chips. Shortly after getting back to our seats the meal was served by a member of the kitchen staff he was very helpful and attentive. The meal was very well presented and cooked to perfection. While eating our food we noticed Laurie-Jo Thoroughly cleaning the empty tables thereby maintaining the pristine condition of the interior of the Seven Stars. Overall we enjoyed our meal and visit and can thoroughly Recommend the Seven Stars. We will visit again in the near future.”
“Great venue for many clubs and occasions.”
“I live in Liverpool, so I have absolutely no reason to say anything positive even—why would I bother to comment? But wow! I never thought I’d have a proper takeaway like this again. I usually love a la carte, posh vegan restaurants, but I’ve missed the greasy, indulgent pizzas I used to have before going vegan—and this place delivered exactly that. The calzone, garlic bread, and pizza were all incredible. Even better, it was a hit with my two autistic kids, which isn’t always easy. We were just visiting the Black Country Museum, and if I’m ever in the area again, of course I’ll be ordering—because wow. Ignore the other negative reviews—they’re talking rubbish. Maybe they just don’t like vegans, haha!”
“Food tasted really nice and was well presented. The service was excellent. The tables could have just been a bit more dressed with a tablecloth and maybe a candle but overall I was pleased I had booked.”
“Top pub and staff are great. I’m from Australia and loved the atmosphere there. Hope one day to return and catch up with the locals.”
“Fantastic Christmas Day up the Mighty Black Bear.”
