“After finally being allowed from Boris to eat out, I got a chance to pop in and try some tasty Indian food. Once ordered, drinks, popadoms and a selection of sauces were brought to our table. Followed by our hot food ordered which looked amazing, extremely tasteful, plentiful and totally delicious. Staff were so friendly, will most definitely be visiting again to try out some more of the menu, the alcohol drinks at the bar looked very appealing, definitely for a night out soon.”

“Visited on Sunday 21st December and we were looked after by Sam, who was super attentive, polite, and very likeable. She has a lovely personality and made sure we were comfortable throughout the evening. The food was excellent. I had the lamb shank shepherd’s pie, which was incredibly tender, rich in flavour, and topped with the most delicious mash. The venue itself was dressed beautifully for Christmas — warm, cosy, and with perfectly chosen ambient music that really set the scene. Thank you to the whole team at Himley House. Have a wonderful Christmas.”

I had an egg fried rice, plain naan, paneer tikka masala, chicken tikka masala and fried salmon. Every dish was perfect. “This is our go too chinese , have been using it since the 80s the only gripe we have is they took chicken maryland of the menu , this meal used to feed 3 of our kids lols , always had decent food .sadly this takeaway has now closed down owners apparently went back to China, the building has been sold although as of 20/02/25 unknown what it will trade as .real shame imo used this place for donkeys years”
