“Love this place! Moved into the area, a little over a year ago. Started drinking in the Bellmans, and was welcomed by the staff almost instantly. The locals are friendly and welcoming, Dom the owner, fantastic man, great chef, always makes the effort to say hello and shake your hand, all the staff make the effort, every time you pop in. very much feel like a local myself now! Thank you!”
“Excellent Thai food, with great service. In the middle of "nowhere", we were delighted to bump into a Thai restaurant. The interior has beautiful murals all over, the dragons are especially neat. We had the vegetable spring rolls and chicken satay, both were excellent (and the satay came with a free apple!). We had soft noodles, which were fine, and the spicy tofu with rice, which was awesome. We saw the photos of the salt and spicy French fries, they lived up to the billing. The service is attentive, and patient.”
“If you’re looking for the best pizza in Wolverhampton, look no further! Serving up the most incredible pizzas made fresh right in front of you. The quality and flavour are simply unmatched—every bite is packed with rich, authentic taste, and you can truly tell they use the freshest ingredients. Not only do they serve outstanding pizzas, but they also have a chip shop in-store, giving you the best of both worlds. While seating inside is limited, this spot is all about top-tier takeaway food done right. Whether you’re after a classic pizza or some crispy, golden chips, you won’t find better anywhere else. Highly recommended!”
“Stayed here for work and it's an absolutely lovely hotel. The staff were super friendly and helpful, the room was lovely, with a nice big, comfy bed, and the food was delicious. Easy to get into town, and had a great night's sleep. Thank you!”
“Came in to Reece’s cafe 4/10/25 with my daughter for a breakfast and a cheeky pistachio hot chocolate and vanilla latte the food was cooked well, presented well and tasted wonderful just what we needed on this cold day the staff were super helpful and food was served with a smile. Thank you guys we will be back!”
“Beautiful cosy place with outside tables available. Friendly atmosphere. Freshly cooked food and served promptly. Staff are very friendly friendly and ready to help too. Highly recommend.”
“I recently visited Le Flamme on Penn Road, and I must say, this was an exceptional dining experience from start to finish. The personalized service stood out—staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome, and they took the time to explain the menu and the restaurant’s history, which added a special touch to the evening. The food was incredible! Every dish was packed with flavor, perfectly cooked, and offered fantastic value for money. The chicken and sides were delicious, but what truly impressed me was the house special lamb, which I was graciously offered as a complimentary taster. The taste was out of this world—juicy, tender, and perfectly spiced. It left me wanting more! The restaurant’s cozy ambiance, attention to detail, and dedication to customer satisfaction have made me a loyal customer already. I highly recommend Le Flamme to anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience in Wolverhampton. I’ll definitely be coming back regularly! Dee”
“Had a mega breakfast with fried bread, it's was lovely and plenty of it for £6.50 with a cup of tea. Was really busy and the food came out in no time. Would highly recommend them”
“Fantastic place where you can get specialty coffee. Really nice gingerbread blondie and friendly staff.”
“Tucked away in the back streets of Brownhills West, this is easily my favourite Thai restaurant, having lived all over the UK & visited many a Thai place. Food is amazing, staff are warm & welcoming. A must if you are in the area, although booking a table is highly recommended!”
“Truly a blessing to the community, compliments to all the staff, the food, service, speed and quality is second to none! Lovely to see family businesses on the high street! Keep up the good work :)”
“What a find! Our usual café of choice for brunch when we are down in Tettenhall was fully booked so we tried Vanilla. We were given a very warm welcome, were seated immediately by a friendly & efficient waitress and we both thoroughly enjoyed a delicious & generous full english. We returned 5 days later and had the same experience. On this occasion I had the avocado smash & my husband a breakfast sandwich. Yummy & great VfM. They have a loyalty coupon too. We'll definitely be back to our new café of choice!”
“A***** Highly recommended! We're from Birmingham and we travel to Wolverhampton every week to see the Grandchildren, and we can not get such beautiful pizza and salad in Birmingham - absolutely delicious, and worth every penny! I urge you to give Racy Pizza a try - I promise you, you will not be disappointed! Thank you so much, Racy Pizza, for such delicious food!”
“Top marks, great food highly recommend. Best kebab around”
“This was a very surprising find.. by the name you would think it's just a sandwich shop but is in fact a quaint little restaurant with some really great tasting Romanian food.. I had the platter for two and everything was just fabulous, I cannot fault anything. The meat was well seasoned, well cooked, tender and tasted absolutely fabulous. Family members had chicken, skewers, ribs and burgers and no one complained. Even my picky son ate the crispy chicken kids menu with mash, really nice mash by the way. I would definetly recommend going here. The service is good, we did have to wait quite a bit for the food but everything is cooked fresh to order and it tastes that way to. I will definetly be returning here.. I'm always looking for a nice little place to eat when in town that is not the same old place and this might be it. The pictures are not great as I was so hungry by the time the food came so kinda started and remembered after. But definetly try this. And reasonable priced to on average £10- 15 per main dish £6 kids menu - only one option.”
“Excellent English breakfast. I highly recommend their Full Monty breakfast. 3 sausage, 3 bacon, 2 eggs, black pudding, hash brown, beans, mushrooms, tomatoes, fried bread, 2 toast, and a cup of tea or coffee all for £6. Great value.”
“Always fresh food and good staff members”

“My wife and I made our first visit to 'The Stump' ( Mount Pleasant) since the 1980's . After a recommendation on Facebook we decided to call in for a late night drink after playing Bridge. The Mount Pleasant is open until 23:00 and serves until 22:45 . We had checked on the Real Ale Finder site that the Mount Pleasant regularly updates and found that they had an interesting Abbeydale Hazelnut and Coffee Stout on. They regularly change 9 of the real ales that they have on offer and a chalk board lists the beers and prices . The Mount Pleasant has a long ( thin) layout with a car park ( also long and thin on its right hand side ) . We accessed the pub via a rear door from the car park . A covered smoking deck is at the back then the single door access ( with a single step) leafs into a corridor that runs the length of the pub with single doorways to enter the front and rear bar rooms . The pub was warm and friendly with a group of people at another table enjoying snack type food . We had a half of the Abbeydale Stout and were pleasantly surprised by the price of only £3.90 for a pint of this 5.2% strength Stout. We enjoyed it so much we squeezed in another half before closing time . The service was friendly and when I mentioned that the last time we visited the Mount Pleasant was in the 1980's the landlady jokingly replied that she was not even born then. It is not surprising that The Mount Pleasant is in the 2025 Camra Good Beer Guide . We both enjoyed our visit and would highly recommend The Stump as a 'must visit ' if you are in the area .”
“Love this place. It's now a community cafe with a revamped menu. Lots for vegans, vegetarians and non veggie meals. Also great coffee and cake, plus takeaway. Well organised, screens in place, gel available, tables cleaned after use. You may have to wait for a table, but it's worth it.”
“Booked Rajput for my Not a stag do stag doo, table for 9. We had a good position in the restaurant and the food was absolutely delicious! All of enjoyed the food and atmosphere. The staff were fabulous seeing to all of our needs well done !”
“Friendly staff and COVID safe. Wasn't able to try their breakfasts or sandwiches, as after noon Sundays they only do Sunday roast. It was good and hot-- though a few of the veg were too done for my tastes. Still very good.”
“Amazing food with an even more amazing range of Vegan / Plant Based options. Good quality and taste was great with a very impressive service time. Vegan and non-vegan menu options were explained in detail upon request. Staff were friendly as was the atmosphere. No complaints and I recommend you visit. As a bonus to the above, prices were very impressive.”
“Woah what can we say this place was incredible!! Portion sizes are biiiiiggggg! So tasty and the ladies were incredible who served us!!”
“We use this restaurant quite a lot to eat in and for delivery. The food is always very good and they cater for us having to have gluten free food. I could not recommend this restaurant enough 100%”
“What an incredible find! Shifnal is housing a fabulous little restaurant immaculate interior with wooden beams and Harry Potter under stairs toilet it’s quirky! From steamed table cloths lovely cutlery crockery and glassware it’s floorless! The food was incredible great flavours and really felt like the chef was taking time to create every dish. Nice wine and tasty passionfruit martinis. I think it’s our new favourite. Definitely an adults only escape for couples and small groups not for loud people!”
“Reasonable prices and the spicy vegetarian contadina pizza with jalapenos is amazing! Really great pizza place, FAR better than others in the vicinity ;) edit: this is genuinely the best pizza place in the UK!”
“An excellent restaurant! The prices are very reasonable and the choices from the menu are amazing, they have gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options, so there is definitely something for everyone. We had the four courses and thought the food was perfect. There's lots of choice for drinks too, non-alcoholic, wines, beers, spirits and cocktails. The restaurant has a very friendly and warm atmosphere, so this is a great place for a date, meal with a friend or to celebrate a birthday or anniversary.”
