“We visited Toluca for my friend's birthday, we had pre booked our table otherwise we wouldn't have been able to get a seat, as it was a Saturday and every table was full! There was a live band which we all loved and it added an even better atmosphere, all the tables loved the music and was singing along. The food was delicious, I have an egg allergy which they gave me a separate menu which contained the allergies on. We didn't wait too long for our food approximately 40 minutes but the drinks flowed nicely. The staff were very friendly and approachable. They understood the menu and were able to recommend their favourite dishes and which dishes contained eggs, but reasured me with a menu. When the food arrived it was presented very nicely and tasted so good! As there was 20 of us and pretty much ordered different dishes to each other, nobody had a bad thing to say and we all had empty plates! I would defiantly recommend this place for anyone celebrating, date night, light lunch. As it was late evening when we arrived no young children were present but I have seen children eating at Toluca throughout the day time for lunch. For me the live band, the food and the great flow of drinks made this night a great night!”

The food is cooked in view of the seating area, so you know that everything is happening fresh and in front of your eyes. “Been using this place for years, tried others, but always ended up coming back. Recently had a takeaway under the new management and was the best yet in my opinion. Always tend to have the same dishes, really like the gung po beef. I'm pretty sure the salt and chili wings recipe has changed, very tasty with more spice. Will continue to use this place.”

“Me and my friend came here and had lovely service and tasty food! I ordered the vegetable balti, plain naan and steamed rice and was really impressed with the flavour and portion size. The service was amazing and I really couldnt recommend it anymore. It was very quiet when we arrived but we did go quite early so I can imagine that around 7:30-8 it picks up and there is a busier atmosphere.”

“Visited Penn Tandoori for the first time for a friend’s birthday and really enjoyed the new thalis. Portions were small but there was plenty overall, and it was great value at £14.95. The staff gave a good explanation of everything and the service was excellent. They also have a bar. Would definitely return in the future.”

“Just moved into the village and haven't stopped for literally a week so decided to give Aroma a try. We'd had recommendations from a couple of friends and they were certainly great recommendations. I felt a bit guilty having a delivery as we only live 5 mins walk away but as we were both totally cream crackered, not having to drop everything was a bonus! Don't let the exterior and decor put you off and the ambient music could be improved from UK pop to some more fitting India music. But I would let the food speak for itself. They don't have a licence to sell alcohol so you can if you wish take your own. On our visit on a Saturday early evening we didn't need a booking but as the evening progressed it got busier. With many regular diners and family groups. All in all a very enjoyable meal. Thanks guys.”

This place served up the most authentic Thai fried rice I've tasted outside of Thailand. The chicken was tender and succulent, the prawns fresh and juicy, and the rice... absolute perfection—light, fragrant, and cooked just right. Each mouthful brought back memories of traveling through the bustling streets of Bangkok and street stalls and seaside eateries in Phuket. If you're craving real Thai flavour that transports you straight to the heart of Thailand, this dish is a must-try. I’ll definitely be back.”
