“Not a bad lil bar, we've visited a couple of times, one of the few places you can get inch's cider which is a favourite with us. We've eaten here before and it's good quality food, actually better than I was expecting but not quite the restaurant quality it's priced at. Good selection of drinks, priced similar to The Sunbeam and George Wallis, with the food, the outdoor area and sports on I can't help but think this place would be jam packed if they priced closer to Billy Wright or The Old Still. The outdoor area is really lovely, tucked away as it is the surrounding buildings dampen the traffic noise and the trees add shade and also help give the impression you're not in the middle of town. The plastic wicker chairs are really comfortable the whole area was clean and tidy, a really nice place to relax and sink a couple of cold ones after shopping before heading home.”

“A cheap pub where the deaf community meet up every Thursday evening. Service always quick. Not the busiest on a Thursday so plenty of room. Different TV's around the place with different sports on, so something for everybody. Beer very cheap! One of the cheapest around.”

“I thought I would leave a review for Dr Shirin Hama As I’ve seen her twice she did an extraction which I didn’t even know when my tooth was out. She made me feel comfortable talked me through the whole procedure told me what to expect and each time made me Feel comfortable made me know exactly what she was going to doing and if it was going to be uncomfortable. Its the Second time i have seen Dr Shirin Hama this time i had dry socket straight away Dr Shirin Hama knew exactly what it was straight away. She was absolutely excellent and I felt in safe hands and instantly my panic went so well spoken and professional, I would also like to add I didn’t feel rushed like most dentists have made me feel in the past. I think this Dr Shirin needs to be recognised for her expertise patients softly spoken and also making me as a patient feel like I am in good hands and she knows exactly what she saying. “I visited today for the first time & Izabela was AMAZING. I found her through a google search after an awful experience at another salon & I’m so glad I did! The wax was virtually pain free, her experience shows in her work & she was incredibly reassuring throughout. She made me feel welcome from the start, was professional & thorough, and has given me the best wax I’ve ever had. The salon is very clean and Izabela made a point of showing me that the wax sticks are never double dipped to ensure good hygiene between clients. We consulted at the start of the appointment where she explained the different waxes & why she was using 2 different ones and the benefits of doing this which was above and beyond any salon I’ve been to before. I booked in again with her at the end of the session & will be a returning customer going forward. Thank you so much Izabela, I’m so glad I found you!”

“We popped to Blooms today to pick up a suit for the hubby for a couple of black tie events he has coming up after a recommendation at a networking event. We were absolutely blown away with this absolute gem of a shop. The service Kyle gave us from start to finish was exceptional. My husband is tall and broad and had tried to buy suits off the peg before and I knew he was dreading the prospect of finding a new suit. It actually turned into a really positive experience and he is already talking about going back for a few other pieces.”

“For the last 15+ years Dale has been doing all work & MOT’s on my families vehicles. He’s always honest which is very rare to find in my opinion and it goes a long way. Not only can you trust him to do the job, he never tells you things need doing when they don’t. On the one occasion we have gone elsewhere, the polar opposite happened. My mother was conned out of £1000 for work that had not been done. The vehicle broke down the following day and had to be ‘done again’. It was only after refusing and threatening legal action did they ‘rectify’ it - although the fix didn’t last long and we ended up back at Dale Ratledges. Can’t speak more highly, a reputation of honesty and quality goes a long way! Appreciate it”
