Nathan was great! Boxing Day can be very tough but he managed to stay calm and help me efficiently as well as effectively. Very happy :)
Extremely disappointed with the service at Flannels Rushden Lakes. I attempted to return a pair of jeans with an obvious manufacturing defect, yet the manager, Ben, refused to accept the fault and dealt with the situation in a dismissive and arrogant manner. Given my years of loyalty and significant spend with Flannels, this treatment is completely unacceptable. I have now escalated the matter to customer service for urgent action.
Would give zero stars if I could. As previous reviews state - staff are rude, arrogant and obnoxious - one of the worst shops for customer service I have ever come across. They do not answer the phone (‘the phones are at the tills and there isn’t always someone there’) I tried over 50 times across two days!! They look you up and down like you’re something off their shoes. Someone give the staff some customer service training. Just because they work in a store that sells designer clothes does not entitle them to behave so badly.
I always think that people who work in retail are easy targets for customers who think they are above them in some way, which is simply not true at all. These are hard working individuals who deserve a lot more respect than they get from self entitled, narcissistic so called ‘respectable’ customers. Just be nice and move on :-) That said, I have to say that the current manager is such a lovely helpful person. Very easy to talk too, incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the products on sale. Be nice and the best will follow :-)
Came in a few weeks ago, to buy a pair of trainers. Normally when I come in I am greeted at the door, and then approached by a professional member of staff to ask if I need any help. I was waiting for around 15 minutes to approached with members of staff just looking at me and making myself feel very awkward. The manager as-well as two members of staff just continued to ignore me and have a conversation between their self. Prior to leaving my other half spoke to the guys near the door, about the quality of service we had received, as she walked out they then continued to speak about her, not knowing I was behind them. The manager then came over and I expressed my concerns about the Lack of customer service and how I was made to feel extremely uncomfortable, I was hoping that he would see my points and take this in a positive way. He then said in a very blunt way “what trainers did you want” which kind of made it feel like it was a chore on his behalf. Unfortunately he then continued to try and intermediate and tell me that it wasn’t his fault, and the staff in are temps which does still not make it acceptable. I have been shopping with flannels for numerous years now, and never have I ever experienced such a lack of professionalism! If you’re in the area and looking for a designer shop, go to Cambridge instead! Never will I shop in this store again!
Pay for delivery. Pay for returns. Not what you expect from a luxury store. Packaging is very basic for expensive items. Store often refuses refunds. Go elsewhere, even if it is slightly more expensive, it is worth it in the long run when spending on luxury goods
Absolutely awful customer service! My husband bought me a precent and I did not like it. He did ask if he can return it and they say yes, no money refund available due to store policy. Be careful when buying something no money back. Definitely avoid this shop !!!! Will never come back!!!!
Bought a CG Carson with the fur collar back in March from this store. Heavily discounted due to the fur collar. Picked it up for £895 and now retailing for £1295 9 months later. Great bargain. They have some lovely SI pieces but very expensive.
Avoid after receiving a item that was £40 and had tags on it for £26 I asked them about it and then got told it was a promotion deal in September yet if I was to return this item to scan it would be the price it has on it when I asked this the person disconnected from the chat
Not too sure about the store but the online service is horrendous. I’ve shopped with flannels for years but since its takeover the customer service is atrocious and non existent. On numerous occasions my goods have arrived, damaged or incorrect items due to a fault of their own, and I’ve had to send it back, paying for postage which they never ever refund. There’s no way of communicating with any one because the customer service is non existent. So Flannels you’ve lost a customer. Avoid!!!
