   Was a bit worried before this trip as we have stayed twice at Matlock and decided to try Sandybrook for a change. Stayed for Christmas week and I need not have worried. The site is smaller and doesn't have quite as many facilities but this was not a problem as Ashbourne is a 20 minute walk away. The ladies on reception were so friendly and good with the kids, who loved the pool and mini golf. The cabin was cosy and an excellent home from home. We walked the local area every day and found many hidden gems in the area. Would absolutely recommend to anyone.

   Really enjoyed our stay at Sandybrook lodges, cosy, clean and well equipped accommodation. Nothing too much trouble for the staff. Swimming pool really good. Hot tub could have been hotter but the staff were happy to turn it up for us.

   Our stay at the Ashbourne lodges was excellent. The lodge was spotless, modern and very comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing break. The location is ideal — close to Ashbourne and beautiful walking spots like Dovedale. The site itself is quiet and well maintained, and parking was easy. The staff were welcoming and made check-in simple. We enjoyed our time so much that we’re already planning to return after Christmas. A great choice for families, couples, or anyone wanting a peaceful getaway.

   We are just leaving our stay and had an amazing time. Great location, but we didn’t really have to leave the park. Amazing for children and lovely pool. I have to especially shout out the lovely ladies on reception, we met around 5 different women, and they were all so chatty, kind, couldn’t help enough and really made us feel at home. Thank you! X

   First visit to a lodge since my wife has been in a wheelchair. The lodge was exceptionally clean, well spaced and adapted for wheelchairs. In a lovely location in the woods with lovely walks and wildlife. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There were good facilities on site. Highly recommended.

   Lodge was lovely and warm on arrival. Everything was clean and tidy. All basic kitchen equipment provided. Had 17 month old baby with us, cot provided aswell as a high chair. Just had to bring own cot bedding. There is plenty to do on site especially if staying shirt period of time. They have an electric car point charger. Some of the lodges are dog friendly . Just to be kept on leash when in the grounds.

   Generally very good, id say the hot tubs though don't live up to billing (not that hot) and nothing you can do about it as centrally controlled so you can't turn it up or down. Location is good, near Ashbourne, but the road if you want to walk isn't overly great with lots of heavy trucks thundering up and down, even over the Christmas period when I'd imagine it is typically quieter traffic wise

   It was a great birthday weekend with the hot tub which was cleaned daily. I had the pet friendly lodge which meant I took my kitten with me. A wonderful experience but would be even better if there was a cat room made for some of the lodges.

   Lovely weekend stay with family. Lodges are beautifully kept - clean and well maintained. Hot tub was amazing! Kids loved the pool. We're booking in again for next year.

   Just come back from a 3 night jacuzzi lodge in Ashbourne. Can highly recommend it, was so relaxing. The park is very clean & staff are lovely plus great to walk down into Ashbourne. The lodge very spacious & well equipped. Will be back next year.
