“Amazing experience from here. We tried their Korean fried chicken, which was the right sauce on top and covered with perfectly cooked chicken inside. Also tried their beef Bulgogi, which was thin slices of beef, marinated in their sauce for 24 hours! Excellent food, friendly staff as well. We will definitely go back to try other food items from their menu ❤️”

“Firstly. Service: phenomenal, was greeted instantly, kind and soft spoken server and our water jug was refilled when it wasn’t even empty. The way my jaw dropped at the level of sophistication this place has (even at almost 1am). Please come here is your unsure as I could not recommend more. Furthermore the actual drinks here are delicious and well thought out, plus, the mixologists know what they’re on about here. I referenced a drink from a video game and one of the bartenders knew what is was, told me and said he could make it if I wanted. 6 stars!!!!”

“Saw Aberdam as I was staying at the hotel nearby. I love flavoured fries so I gave them a try and honestly, ate the best burger ive had in some time. The taste of their patties was of a different quality - so superior to even the luxury burger chains. I'll be coming here every time I come back to Aberdeen, im certain.”

“Soup of the day just like at home, chocolate brownie looked a little dry on the outside, but don't judge a book by it's cover....lovely and meltie-chocolaty once opened up :) Espresso just as it should be. Price perhaps a little on the high side, but if you enjoyed what you had, if the staff were really friendly, and if the atmosphere made you feel good, then everything is good.”

“Spectacular burrito and enchiladas. Full of flavour with fresh ingredients. The interior of the place is fantastic too. The fillings were tasty, prices reasonable. The opportunity to try sauces with nachos is very clever. I would strongly recommend that place to every food lover. I will definitely come back to try other options from menu. Keep up the good work! “Absolutely incredible! Wild Ginger is hands down one of the best Indian restaurants in Aberdeen. The food is utterly delicious, every single dish I’ve tried has been full of flavour and beautifully presented. The Chilli Broccoli is honestly one of the best appetisers I’ve ever had (and that’s coming from a meat eater!). The venue itself is spotless, the décor is elegant and inviting, and the staff are genuinely lovely. The owner and manager truly go above and beyond for their customers, making every visit a memorable one. It’s a real shining gem in Aberdeen for anyone who loves authentic Indian cuisine. Big shoutout to their Mango Lassis and Peshwari Naan too , they’re absolutely perfect. And don't get me started on their incredible butter chicken curry... wow! Couldn’t recommend Wild Ginger enough!”

“Superb meal. Probably the best burger I've ever had, and a phenomenal range of beers, with abv ranging from 0.5% to an eye-popping 14.5%. My wife went for a selection of small plates and was equally impressed. The night we were in there was a DJ playing some great vinyl at a very conversation-friendly level. Staff were really chilled (in a good way) and genuinely friendly. The place feels like a real labour of love and hopefully it prospers for many years to come. If you appreciate good beer and/or soul food then we'd highly recommend it.”

“Great festive menu and good value for money. Portions were large! I had the festive burger with pulled pork it was divine. Theres lots of seating though id reccomend booking as can get busy!. We are always well looked after when we go for food or drinks. The staff are very attentive and friendly. Would highly reccomend eating and drinking here.”

“We had such a beautiful dinner! Everything tasted incredible, the quality of food and drink was fantastic and all staff were lovely. It’s such a shame in the Aberdeen scene right now. Restaurants like this should be thriving but there was only one other table while we were in. We made no request for anything special as it was my 21st birthday, but still the staff brought out a cake with a candle and sang happy birthday to me. This completely surprised our whole table and was honestly such a lovely gesture. I really hope to be back soon.”

“This place is a hidden gem. 4 of us went for an evening meal. Food was really stunning - the cauliflower was excellent and the sharing platters great. Wine was reasonably priced for some decent bottles. One of the best places to go in Aberdeen (and love the chef giving back on unfair reviews!)”

“This is the first time we have been to Vovem since their re-opening recently. Their team is solid, from host to bar to service, we had a wonderful experience. Servers are knowledgeable and well-spoken. We were sat near the kitchen which was nice to observe, but perhaps a little loud due to traffic of servers walking by, that did not affect the experience. Food was good and well-priced.”

“I had a nice catch up with a friend at Cafe Society, during a busy lunchtime period. The food was lovely and service was good. It was a tidy cafe. I had to sit next to my friend instead of opposite him, as the seats are quite far apart and it’s hard to hear when there is a lot of people - but that’s what happens when it’s busy! It wouldn’t be affordable to come here every lunch - as a tea and a burrito came to just shy of £10. Although hopefully I can be back again soon.”
