“Beautiful community center with tons of local programming. The cafe inside is delicious as well.”
“Went to see The Nutcracker, love going to GOH as such an elegant building. We arrived early for pre show drinks and took the opportunity to pre-order for the interval so our drinks were available at allocated spot. I thought drinks prices were reasonable for an entertainment venue (just under £28 for 4 vodka & 2 coke). The spiral staircase can be a bit dodgy when some people decide they own the space so if you’re a bit unsteady there is a lift front left as you enter, or there’s a back staircase with normal treads just past door A. The one downside to the venue is that there is no cloakroom so you will have to keep your coat with you, not an issue in summer but more problematic for a winter performance. The venue is easy to get to from the train station or city centre and there are plenty of hotels nearby if you’re staying over.”
“This was my first visit and I was very impressed! Plenty of car parking spaces and not too far of a walk to the Theatre. Lovely Bar area and very efficient friendly Bar Staff. The seats were very comfortable and quite a large stage so everyone had a great view. I didn’t notice any obstructions anywhere in the Theatre. Very friendly staff from start to finish to guide you to your seat. Top marks to all, we had a great experience!”
“We were looking for a last-minute Christmas Panto for our 2 year old and managed to get some seats just behind the front row. It was a small but passionate production, the main characters all really put their heart into it and our son loved it (the smaller roles were done by children 5-10yr, which really drew his focus into the show as it was more relatable). We were tempted to go a second time, but sadly, we couldn't make it. Great performance, and around 1/3 the price of the cheapest seats at Waterfront or Opera House.”
“Great night's craic watching Aaron Butler record his radio show. Brilliant wee venue”
“Fantastic exhibitions and really interesting art!! Incredibly informative and friendly staff. Best value for money cup of tea at the Cafe ☕. Lovely few hours spent and such a beautiful building.”
“Great venue, big enough to feel like an event, small enough to feel intimate, no bad seats. Bright, fresh, still feels new years after it was built. Drinks pricey but all concert venues are the same. Superb venue.”
“Absolutely brilliant…. A free place to hear others speak about life’s challenges and fun! Wednesday night once a month is an excellent opportunity to listen and gets you out of the house!! Clean toilets, there’s a bar for those who want too indulge. Highly recommend!”
“Absolutely fantastic food, brilliantly unique classic tapas. Plenty you'd not see anywhere else. Service was very good. Vick was a gentleman, he put in a lot of effort. Overall couldn't fault the experience in anyway. 6 dishes, 2 drinks, a dessert, tea and coffee came to £103.”
“Enjoyed a beautiful Christmas lunch with family in Howard Street on Saturday 6/12/25 - the food was sublime and service from staff warm and welcoming. Would recommend and we are looking forward to our next visit..”
“Excellent night at the Ulster Hall. The building itself is an absolute beauty, take time to look at the rescued paintings in the corridor next to the bathrooms. We saw Campbell and Jenson supporting the fantastic Lyle Lovett. The acoustics were superb, seats comfy and the venue staff were very helpful. A brilliant night.”
“Our first visit to The Old Courthouse restaurant where we had lunch after a long enjoyable walk around the marina area and the Antrim Castle Grounds. The food, location and the staff were all excellent. The food was very tasty and the pricing was good given the great food choices. I highly recommend this location for Breakfast, a snack or lunch. You won't be dissapointed. And to ensure you have a good appetite, take a good walk around the Castle Grounds as it is both immaculate and full of great features. The Castle entrance is just across from the restaurant....”
“Fantastic food - tasty, well presented and full of flavour. The service was excellent and a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Good variety of dishes for vegetarian, fish and meat eaters which our party consisted of. A great recommendation from a friend Would definitely return.”
“The Crescent is a great venue and quite intimate too. Have seen a few bands here and always enjoy it. No drinks license, so it’s a case of bring your own wine or beer only. Glasses supplied.”
“Quick service and lovely food - the cauliflower poke bowl was full of a wonderful mix of flavours, sweet with a little of spice. A good choice of vegetarian/ vegan options available! Can also recommend the chocolate and fudge tart - it was the perfect finish to a meal if you don't fancy anything heavy or too sweet.”
“We held our We Believe 2025 event here ,nice place for large conference”
“Visited this remarkable venue a few weeks ago to see the Farmers Choir Spring Concert, and most impressed with both! The theatre is very comfortable and the choir put on a great show. All in all a most enjoyable evening.”

“We went to see a play in this charming theatre, it is an old church and has a very welcoming feeling. I will definitely be attending other productions.”
“Great lecture from Prof Alice Roberts! Thanks for organising NISF!”
“It is a fantastic cosy performance space, a great theatre to have in our city a place open to rent as the seats can go back ,opening up hall for so many uses,”

“I had a fantastic experience at Europa Hotel. The rooms were clean, modern, and comfortable, with all the amenities I needed. The staff were exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to ensure everything was perfect throughout my stay. The location was also ideal—close to restaurants, public transport, and key attractions. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of variety, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was calm and welcoming. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!”
“Beautiful hotel in heart of Belfast. Everything is in close proximity by foot - no need for car. Staff is very nice and welcoming and we felt very nice and welcomed there. Room was amazing and clean, very quiet with AC and mini fridge., comfy bed, big TV with Netflix and big shower. We also had a breakfast- money well spent. Amazing service, food was amazing. One of the best breakfast we had in a hotel. Highly recommend if staying in Belfast”
“For all my jokes and upon reflection, this place was very good! The steak was very tender, mash and cabbage were buttery and indulgent and chips (for their size) were nice and crispy! I understand that part of the appeal of this place is that you finish your steak how you like on the hot stone. But for me, paying £70 for the chateaubriand, I would’ve liked the option for the chef to have cooked it for us. I would’ve like a bit of butter or oil, to assist with the cooking but other than that, jt was perfectly fine. It does get very hot, very smoky and you do leave smelling of steak”
“It was over 40 years since I was in Belfast and was delighted to see the huge changes that have happened since that time. Flame is a perfect example of these changes. Received excellent service and was very happy with the quality, quantity and price of my meal. Best wishes for the future.”
