“I ordered afternoon tea to be delivered for Mother’s Day. (2 adults 1 child’s) I was so impressed, it arrived in plenty of time on the day and the quality of the food was 10/10. You can tell everything in the box was 100% homemade, quality produce. My sons kids box was ace too lots of sweets and fun bits in there for him so he was a happy boy! I had the large jerk chicken with rice and peas + a side of plantain. To drink I had sexy juice and a bottle water. The food was fresh and hot. “Had brunch and coffee here. A spacious cozee place with lots of tables. And comfy chairs with cushions. Relaxing music which doesn't distract from having a conversation. Lots of yummy things to choose on the menu and a vast variety of drink, coffees, shakes, or alcohol beverages. Service was great and the food was amazing. Definitely recommend this place. It changes to a wine bar of an evening on the weekends and has occasional unique entertainment to watch out for.”

“Came here for lunch on Sunday and the food was excellent. Good portion sizes and the food tasted great with excellent quality ingredients. You can tell they use good produce here. Good service from the staff with a nice pint of Guinness. The place is kept clean and looks beautiful inside a proper family pub.”

“We hired the private dining room at The Boat for my Mum’s 60th birthday meal. We all had a Sunday roast with starter and dessert. From the initial email booking enquiry with Mitchell, right through to the end of the big day everything was exceptional. The service was super attentive and friendly, the food was delicious and creative, and we enjoyed pre and post meal drinks in their beautiful and sunny garden. I would not hesitate to go back there again for a special occasion or a date night treat. Big thanks to all the staff for making my Mum’s birthday extra special.”

“Old fashioned pub nothing to write home about , just good beers and on that day a northern soul dj , so the music was good had to sit outside in the beer garden as just to load to have a conversation with our friends. Anyway overall not a bad pub for a decent real ale pint .”
