“Food was awesome especially the sea bass, we all had different mains and l was able able to get try all. Waiting staff were very helpful ,friendly and attentive it was my god daughter's birthday and as they brought the cake out all of the tables sang happy birthday. lt was the first time myself and my husband had been but it will definitely not the last. lf you get the chance to go do, sadly they open 8/9 weeks in the summer and only on Saturday this year. Next year l will be booking early.”

“Food is pretty good, service is excellent and turn around time is great. Ordered a double cheeseburger meal, had it in 5 minutes, and the guy serving me was very polite. Couldn't have asked for better. Only thing i can say is that it's a shame they're in a quiet area like mossley. If they were somewhere like Bloxwich high street or Walsall centre perhaps they'd be a lot busier.”

“There is a high standard of care and attention to detail to people frequenting the restaurant. The food came out quickly although the restaurant was busy. All the serving staff were very welcoming and also the bar staff when we arrived greeted us with a smile and welcomed us. “Ordered via JustEats for collection last night. Saw the fish & chips for £3.99 and added Doner meat in naan for just another £4.99!! I thought these would be quite small portions (mini fish/cone of chips kinda thing) - but I was very pleasantly surprised by the size of the portions, especially the Doner meat in naan (ordered without salad or sauces) - but they gave me 4 little pots of sauce separately anyway. Placed the order just before 5pm for collection at 5.25pm, and got a text message to let me know the order was ready at 5.15pm, literally as I was walking up to the door! First time ordering from here and it won't be the last! Top stuff. Since my first visit, I've been several times, and the food is consistently top notch! The battered chips (only available on Sundays) are great, and today I tried their Masala Fish on Naan. Wow! Absolutely delicious! This place is now my go-to stop for great food at incredibly affordable prices! The staff are friendly and the food is really nice. Every time I've ordered for collection, it's been ready and waiting for me as I walk through the door.. They're even open on Xmas day! Thank you, 5 Star Fish Bar!”

“Absolutely on a different level when it comes to Indian food! It’s not only the best Indian restaurant in Aldridge it’s the best Indian restaurant in the UK in my opinion. Request the minty lamb curry of the trio of curries, it’s simply the tastiest, delicious curry we’ve ever tasted. The barra chops are delicious as a starter and so is paneer, the breads are always cooked perfectly, both the naan and paratha. Everyone has their preferences when it comes to restaurants, but on top of the food the welcome you get from Syed just puts this place on a different level. Cobra on draught is also a bonus, the New Zealand white wine is also excellent.”

“I came in on Saturday to get food for my family. I ordered myself a kebab pitta. The food tasted great and was made even better by Christina’s excellent customer service. I will definitely come back and hopefully Christina will be the one serving.”

“I went here for the first time on Friday and had an absolute blast. The food and drinks were unreal (and generous portions!) and every single staff member was SO friendly. I have a 5 month old puppy so I’m always wary of places that claim to be ‘dog friendly’ but this place was great and there were plenty of other happy dogs having a great time with their owners too. I’ll definitely be back and making my way through both the food menu and drinks menu!”

“Had a fantastic take away meal, they added cashew nuts to my order of beef chow mein and I must say it's the best one I've ever had, the beef was generous and so tender. And my husband adored his sweet and sour chicken balls :) not to thick in batter and a lovely crisp to it. Chips aren't as nice as they used to be, but still good :). I'm craving another one now just typing this :) Thank you to the staff and great service and delivery was so fast !! X”

“Just had two portions of fish & chips at the Crown. We recently moved up into the area and several people have recommended this shop. I can see why. Fish was freshly cooked and in a very light batter. Chips (and there were more than plenty for my wife & I) were hot, crispy but soft inside. Fabulous and huge portions. Don't be put off by some of the negative reviews here...all outlets can and do have ''off' days for a number of reasons but the new owner is open to constructive comment for any service which you think may be below par. I will most definitely be back and recommend to friends. Tim”
